For admission in Post graduate Diploma programs at MGSU, candidates must have graduation with at least 50% marks. The University offers Post Graduate Diploma in Geoinformatics and Remote Sensing, Computer Applications, Translation (English), and Yoga & Naturopathy. Duration of PG Diploma course is 01 Year. Admission to Post graduate courses will be granted on the basis of merit in qualifying examination.

Maharaja Ganga Singh University M.Phil & Ph.D. Admissions 2023
For admission in M.Phil and Ph.D. courses, candidate must have PG degree in the relevant discipline with 55% marks in aggregate. Admission is purely based on MPCET exam (minimum 36% marks) followed by an interview. MPCET is the departmental entrance test conducted by the respective departments of MGSU. Candidates qualifying the MPCET exam, have to visit the Directorate of Research of MGSU in person with a DD of Rs 3000 along with relevant marksheet and certificates.

Key Points:
- University conducts only one paper for each subject for the entrance test. The test consists of 100 MCQs with each question is of 1 mark. For every wrong answer, 01 mark will be reduced. The duration of the entrance test will be 2 hours.
- The question paper is bilingual i.e. questions are asked in both English and Hindi for subjects other than languages. For science subjects, the question paper will be in English only.
- The Test is total of 100 marks. Merit will be based on combined marks obtained by the candidates in the Entrance Test followed by an interview.

Canddiates need to follow the steps given below in order to have admission to UG, PG and Diploma courses offered by MGSU:
- Visit the MGSU Bikaner official website.
- Click on the “Admission” tab.
- Click on “register for application”.
- Fill the application form with all the asked details.
- After filling the details in the application form, upload the scanned photograph & signature along with the required documents.
- Click on “Submit” for the final submission of the form.
- Print the duly filled application form and send the same along with the application fee receipt and the following mentioned documents to VC Secretariat, Maharaja Ganga Singh University, N.H.-15, Jaisalmer Road, Bikaner PIN-334004 (Rajasthan).
- Send the above-mentioned documents by post or by hand during 10:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M
