Manipur University Imphal Scholarships

• Fellowship: This is a merit-based award of INR 3000/- per month for M Phil students and INR 5000/- per month for Ph.D. students.
• Special Assistance Program: The Life Sciences Department offers four INR 250/- per month scholarships to Manipur University students.
• Free Studentships: For needy and meritorious students, a limited number of free studentships are provided.

Manipur University Facilities

The university is spread out over 287 acres and has a plethora of facilities, including:

• Library: The university offers a well-equipped library with full reading facilities and just 200 seats. The library operates on an open access system, which allows students to read books directly from the stacks. The Online Public Access Catalogue (OPAC) can be used to see if a book is available. A conference space with seating for more than 80 people is available at the library. All the Teachers, Research Scholars, Students, Officers, and Non-Teaching staff of the university can enroll as library users. Members of the university have access to an e-library.
• Health Center: The university also maintains a health centre on campus that provides high-quality health care to all students, faculty, and non-teaching employees. A Chief Medical Officer, a Resident Medical Officer (PT), one Dental Surgeon (PT), one staff nurse, one pharmacist-cum-typist, and one peon work at the health centre. The Health Centre's major goal is to give healthcare to as many people as possible.
• Computer lab: The university has a well-equipped computer lab for students and researchers, as well as short-term training courses. Students and scholars can obtain whatever academic information they require via computer laboratories, which offer a diverse range of possibilities.
• Hostel: The university provides excellent housing for both girls and boys, with six boys' and eight girls' hostels with a total capacity of 592 boys and 564 girls.
