Manipur University of Culture Application Process
The university offers offline application mode, for which application fees are to be charged offline mode. Candidates should follow the process for Manipur University of Culture Imphal online admission given below.
- Application for Admission will be invited through advertisements in the local and national papers.
- Prospectus along with application forms will be available in the office of the Registrar on payment of Rs. 400/- for general and for SC/ST/OBC Rs. 200.
- Duly filled in application forms (in duplicate) will have to be submitted to the office of the Registrar along with the following enclosures (in duplicate) :

- Two self-attested copies of a recent Passport size photo to be pasted on the application forms in the space provided for it.
- Two self-attested xeroxed/photocopies of the High School Leaving Examination passed Certificate and Higher Secondary passed Certificate along with mark sheets.
- Two self-attested photocopies of the certificates of passing the Foundation Course/Certificate Examination in the concerned subject.
- Self-attested photocopies of SC/ST/OBC certificates, to be submitted by SC/ST/OBC candidates.
- Self-attested copies of Certificates in support of any claim for a seat against a reserved quota.
- Self-attested Migration Certificate in the case of a candidate from outside the state.
NOTE: Final selection will be subject to the production of the original documents and their verification.
Mode Of Selection
Selection of the Candidates for the Admission is made through as follows:
- A written Test for 50 marks
- A Practical/Demonstration Test for 35 marks and
- A Viva-Voce Test of 15 marks.
NOTE:
- The Written Test will be for 60 minutes and the Practical/Demonstration and Viva-Voce tests will be for 30 and 10 minutes respectively.
- A Candidate seeking Admission must secure a minimum of 40% of the aggregate of the total marks of the three types of tests.
Reservation
Seats for SC/ST/OBC Candidates are reserved as per the norms of the Government.
- One seat in each Course is reserved for candidates who have represented the state in the National/international level competitions in Sports and Games.
- One seat in each relevant Course is reserved for Physically disabled/challenged candidates
- The Reserved seats shall be deemed unreserved if suitable candidates are not available.
Note: Admissions of the Candidates belonging to the categories given above will be subjected to a proper verification of the certificates submitted by them.
Counselling
The Manipur University of Culture Imphal will begin counseling for all eligible and qualified students. Candidates are expected to attend the counseling round on the date specified at the venue to ensure their admission.
