NIT Raipur was established in 1956. The foundation stone of the college was laid by the Dr Rajendra Prasad and it was inaugurated by the first prime minister of India, Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru in 1963. The institute is located in Raipur, the capital city of Chhattisgarh and is at a distance of 5 km from the Raipur railway station. NIT Raipur Admission 2020 for BTech
NIT Raipur offers B.Tech programme in 12 specializations. Admission is purely done based on the rank in JEE Main. The minimum eligibility to apply for JEE Main is 10+2 with at least 75% in Science stream or secure top 20 percentile in 10+2.

National Institute of Technology Raipur provides M.Tech and MCA as PG courses. M.Tech program is offered in 7 specializations. The minimum eligibility for M.Tech. is a Bachelor’s Degree in the respective branch of Engineering from any recognized university.
