National Law University (NLU) offers BA (LLB), LLM, MBL, PG Diploma courses to the aspirants and follow the semester-based academic program. NLU follows the semester system and conducts semester examinations. University is responsible for releasing both the semester result and exam date. Candidates should check the university website regularly for any kind of updates. Candidates can easily download their examination results by simply entering their registration number and date of birth. University divides the semester system into two categories i.e. odd semester and even semester. The Odd semester is scheduled to be conducted in the month of March-April whereas, an even semester examination is held from November-December. NLU Result 2020

National Law University divides the semester system into two categories i.e. odd semester and even semester. The Odd semester is scheduled to be conducted in the month of March-April whereas, an even semester examination is held from November-December. University publishes both the semester examination result separately.

How to download NLU Result 2020?

National Law University Result will be displayed on the website after the commencement of the examination.  Students can easily check their results available on the official website of the university by following the below-given steps:

  • Step 1: Go to the official website of the University
  • Step 2: Go to Results from the top menu bar of the website home page
  • Step 3: There will be the following four options available for checking the result.
  • Step 4: Hit the course exam result link.
  • Step 5: A new window will be made accessible and a course list will be there.
  • Step 6: Hit the desired course.

REVALUATION OF ANSWER SCRIPTS

Students will only have the right to review the subject exam if the students are not satisfied with their results. Candidates can apply for the rechecking of the answer sheet within one week and declare the main result.

  • A student seeking revaluation of an answering script of an end-semester examination (or Repeat) shall apply to the Undergraduate Council, and provide reasons for seeking such revaluation. After examining the reasons, the Undergraduate Council shall place the request before the Vice-Chancellor if it deems that the reasons have any basis. If the Vice-Chancellor approves the request for revaluation, the Undergraduate Council shall forward the answer script, along with the answer key prepared by the course teacher, for revaluation.
  • An application for revaluation shall be made by the student to the Under Graduate Council after paying the prescribed fees and within one week from the date of declaration of results if the University is in session. If the result is declared during vacations, the request shall be made within one week from the date of the re-opening of the University. In no case shall a request for revaluation be entertained after the expiry of the relevant period.
  • In case of revaluation being successful, the student shall be awarded the grade as per the revaluation. In case a student takes the repeat examination and also applies for revaluation, the grade obtained in revaluation shall be final. If he/she fails in revaluation, the grade obtained in the repeat examination shall be final.
  • If the difference between the original marks awarded and marks obtained in revaluation is more than 10 marks, the script shall be sent to a third evaluator, and the marks awarded by the third evaluator shall be final.
NOTE:
  • Re-evaluation Fee: Rs. 500/- per subject 
  • Re-evaluation will be permitted only in two papers in a semester
