NLU Odisha UG & PG Courses Admission 2023

National Law Odisha University offers admission in various Bachelor and Masters level courses. University offers BA LLB, BBA LLB at UG level, and LLM at PG level. Candidates must have passed the class 12 level examination from a recognized board, i.e. CBSE / ISC / State Board or the equivalent. Admission in all the UG and PG courses offered by NLU Odisha is based on candidate scores in CLAT exam. NLU Odisha Courses Admission 2023 M.Phil & Ph.D

Candidates can also apply for M.Phil and Ph.D. courses run by National Law University. NLUO offers Ph.D. courses for both full-time and part-time modes, where the least duration for full time is three-year and for the part-time maximum duration is six years. Interested candidates must have a degree of Master’s in Law (LLM) from any recognized university, with at least 55% marks. Reserved category candidates will be given a relaxation of 5%. Selection Process:

The selection process for the MPhil and Ph.D. programme aims to analyze all aspects of a candidate’s attitude towards the course. Candidates are generally selected on the basis of an entrance examination as well as a personal interview.

• The written test is a 150 mark paper for the duration of a 2-hour paper. It mainly consists of topics from the following three main topics – research aptitude, the constitutional law of India, and legal theory.
• Candidates with at least 50% in the written test will qualify for the personal interview stage, which has a 50 marks weightage (total 200) towards the final grade.
• The performance in the interview will serve as the deciding factor for the preparation of the merit list.

The institution awards scholarships to students based on their cumulative grade point average (CGPA). The scholarship value ranges from INR 50,000 to INR 1,000,000.
