RBU Admission 2023 Important Dates

RBU Admission 2023 BA (Hons.), BFA, B.L.I.Sc & B.Ed Admission 2023

The university offers BA (Hons.), BFA, B.Li.Sc & B.Ed programs in various disciplines under the faculties of Arts, Fine Arts and Visual Arts. The basic eligibility for BA & BFA is a pass in 10+2 with relevant subjects. For B.Li.Sc and B.Ed courses, a Graduation degree is a must. The selection is on the basis of merit in the last qualifying examination The other details related to admission in these UG courses can be found below:

•  For B.A (Hons.) in Rabindra Sangeet, Instrumental Music, Vocal Music, Dance and Drama subjects, the merit list will be prepared on the basis of score in Admission test (out of 80) and marks in 10+2 (out of 20). The admission test will consist of 50 marks for Practical and 30 for Theory.
• Candidates applying under foreign or NRI categories need to appear in the written test followed by viva-voce conducted by the respective department of RBU.
• The candidates with a gap in studies in two successive sessions will not be considered eligible for admission process.
• No candidate will be allowed to pursue two-degree courses at the same time in the university or any other university simultaneously. Only Diploma or Certificate courses can be considered as exceptions.
• Those candidates who are employed in (Govt./ Govt. Aided) are required to submit a ‘No Objection Certificate’ or an ‘approval letter’ from the employer to be considered eligible for admission.
• Out of total 50 seats available for B.Ed course, 25% seats are reserved for teachers teaching for class IX onwards and 75% seats are reserved for fresher candidates.

RBU Admission 2023 M.A, MFA & M.Li.Sc Courses

M.A, MFA & M.Li.Sc courses are offered in various disciplines. A relevant UG degree is a must to secure admission in MA course. BFA/ BVA degree holders can apply for MFA while B.Li.Sc or any Master’s degree holders are eligible to apply for the M.Li.Sc program. The selection in MA (Human Rights) and Mass Communication is granted on the basis of performance in the Admission Test. RBU Admission 2023 M.Phil & PhD Courses

The Faculty of Arts, Fine Arts and Visual Arts also offers courses at the doctoral level. Those students who have passed Master’s degree with 55% marks in the relevant discipline are eligible to apply for M.Phil & PhD programs. Admission is offered on the basis of Written Test followed by an interview. Candidates have to score a minimum 40% marks in the written test and 45% marks in the interview. Candidates need to follow these steps to fill the form of RBU for admission in various courses:

• Visit the RBU official website and create the User ID.
• Fill the application form with respect to the academic and professional details.
• Upload the photograph and signature (size not more than 100 KB).
• Pay the application fee of Rs. 250/- with additional bank charges of Rs. 150/- through SBI collect by Credit or Debit Card.
• The application fee can also be paid by downloading the SBI Challan available on the official website.
• Click on Submit and Save & take the printout of the duly filled application form.
