Raksha Shakti University Ahmedabad Admission 2023 is based on a national level entrance test i.e JEE Main, GATE. Whereas the university also conducts its own entrance test and follows state ACPC rules. Raksha Shakti University is the First Pioneering Security and the Police University of India. Government University established by the Government of Gujarat and recognized by UGC (Bill upgrading RSU as an Institute of National Importance and Central University as Rashtriya Raksha University. 250 acres vast campus away from hustles and bustles of urban life in the pursuit of learning, research, and training excellence in security and police. The University offers B.A and B.Tech under its UG wings. At the PG level, it offers MA, LL.M, M.Sc., and M.Tech in various specializations. Raksha Shakti University BA and B.Tech Admission 2023
The university offers B.A in Security Management and B.Tech in Cyber Security at UG level. The basic eligibility is to pass 10+2 with 50% marks for B.A and to pass 10+2 in Science stream for B.Tech. Selection Criteria in B.A is merit based while for B.Tech, Candidates need to have a valid score in JEE Main or GUJCET. B.A course is rendered both in English and Gujarati. Raksha Shakti University MA, M.Tech, M.Sc. and LL.M Admission 2023
The University offers several post graduation programs namely M.A. in Criminology, MA in Police Administration, LL.M in Crime and Security. The eligibility criteria is to apply, candidates should have a graduation degree in discipline for MA, LL.B degree for L.M, Graduation in science stream for M.Sc and B.Tech/B.E degree with at least 50% aggregate marks in computer related fields for M.Tech.
Selection of applicants in M.A, LL.M and M.Sc is based on merit in the qualifying examinations. M.Tech selection will be based on valid GATE score. The candidates who have not given GATE score, they will be given admission based on PGCET score.

Raksha Shakti University M.Phil and Ph.D Admission 2023
The university offers several research programs i.e. M.Phil in Criminology, Police Administration and Ph.D. in Law, Criminology, Psychology, Cyber security, Internal Security Management. Students must have a Master degree in the concerned discipline with at least 55% marks and 50% marks for SC/ST candidates.
Final selection of eligible candidates will be based on the score of any of UGC-NET, UGC-JRF, CSIR-JRF, CSIR-NET, SET/SLET or GATE. In case the candidate hasn’t appeared for any then he/she will be judged on the basis of an entrance test, and their performance in the interview. Admission Committee for Professional Courses (ACPC)
Admission Committee for Professional Courses (ACPC) will conduct counselling for various courses in universities and colleges under Gujarat Government. The Government of Gujarat, Education Department by way of a notification had constituted two different Committees called “Admission Committee for Professional Courses (ACPC)” to regulate the admission of candidates to the professional degree courses respectively.
How to apply for ACPC?
Candidates should follow below given points to apply for Admission Committee for Professional Courses, Gujarat.
- To register for ACPC counselling, candidate must appear in GUJCET.
- Candidates can apply for GUJCET counselling on the basis of GUJCET marks.
- Now, Candidates must check ACPC dates for particular course.
- Furthermore, Candiadtes must register online for the respective course on ACPC official website.
- Finally, pay the required application fees for online counselling.
- The choice filling can be done through login credential i.e User ID as the candidate's GUJCET exam roll number.
- However, In various counselling rounds the candidates will be allocated the participating colleges on the basis of ACPC merit.
Raksha Shakti University Application Process 2023
The admission procedure of Raksha Shakti University is both offline and online. Candidates can get the application form either from university or can download it from the university website by paying a nominal fee. Eligible candidates have to follow the subsequent steps to apply to the university. Candidates must check the elibility of courses and appear in entrance test required.
How to fill RSU Application form in Offline mode?
For all the courses (except Ph.D.)
- Visit the Official website of the university i,e http://rsu.ac.in/
- Fill the application form by putting the relevant details
- Get a DD of the respective amount made, in the name of ‘Register, Raksha Shakti University, payable at Ahmedabad and send it along with the application form.
- The application forms have to be sent to the university in person/courier/post.
- Also mention the course name for which you are sending the application form.

Candidates have to follow the steps given below to apply for PhD course:

- Click on the ‘Admission’ tab.
- Click on ‘download’ tab against the Ph.D application form
- The first page of the pdf will be the application form that the candidate has to fill and on the second page all the information such as eligibility, selection procedure, application procedure, etc. will be elaborated.
- Please read the instruction carefully before filling the application form and prepare all the necessary documents
- Now fill all the necessary documents
- Make the necessary documents and send them along with the application form and the application fees of Rs 1000/- in cash or in the form of DD, in favour of ‘The Registrar, Raksha Shakti University’ payable at Ahmedabad.Candidates can check below the necessary documents:
- Self attested photocopy of the eligibility qualification certificates and marksheets
- One passport size photograph.
Reservation Policy
University follow the reservation policy to shortlist candidates for the admission of different category candidates:
- All the SC/ST/OBC/PH candidates will be given 5% relaxation in the aggregate marks in all subjects.
- Relaxation to female candidates, National level participants in sports, athletes played at state level and holders of NCC certificates is 5%, 5%, 3% and 7% respectively in marks
- Extra 5% marks will be deducted for students who have cleared the qualifying examination in more than one attempt.
- 50% fees will be reduced for the girl candidates, under most of the courses.
