Ranchi University Application form 2023
The Ranchi University Application form will be filled through Online and offline mode both. Candidates can check the details related to the Application form below:
- The application form has been released in the Ranchi University official website tentatively from last week of June 2023 (Tentative).
- The application form is available only through Online Mode. Candidates can either download the form online and then fill it or mya purchase from Registrar's office.
- Candidates are requested to check all the eligibility of course they wanted to apply.
- All the necessary documents are needed to be uploaded by the candidates.
- The candidates need to cross check all the details filled by them in the Application form for futher verification. If the details are found to be incorrect the form will immediately be rejected.
- Candidates are also required to pay the application fees of the form through online payment system or can attach the DD along with the application form.
- It is advised to candidates to keep a printout of the application form and fee payment receipt after the successful submission of the form.
Application Fees
After filling all the details in the registration form, candidate have to pay the application fees that varies as per the category of candidate. Given below is the course and category-wise application fees:

- The applicants has to first register and create their login credentials.

Ranchi University UG Admission 2023
Ranchi University offers various UG Courses for the candidates under Medical, Management, Science and Arts. The admissions to B.Tech, MBBS, BDM, B.Pharm is on the basis of National level entrance examination while admission to BA/b.com is through merit basis in the last qualifying examination. Admission in B.Tech and MBBS programme is done through JEE Main and NEET UG entrance test. The duration for B.Tech is 4 years, while BA, B.Com is for 3 years of duration. Ranchi University PG Admissions 2023
Ranchi University offers various courses in PG Courses such as MD, MS, M.Tech, MBA, M.Com etc. The admission to the various courses is on the basis of national-level entrance examinations. The minimum eligibility to take admission in PG programs is to have completed a bachelor's degree in relevant disciplines. The selection in M.Tech will be on the basis of GATE Scores followed by CCMT Counselling. For admission in MD and MS candidates have to present valid NEET PG Scores while admission in MA/ M.Com will be on the basis of Merit in the last qualified examination. Ranchi University MPhil and Ph.D. Admission 2023
The University also offers M.Phil and P.hD at the doctorate level. The aspirants wanting to apply for any of the M.Phil and P.hD courses must have a master's degree (M.Sc, MA, M.Com) in the relevant disciplines with at least 55% marks in aggregate. The admission criteria for M.Phil and P.hD is Entrance Test followed by either Counselling or Interview. The duration of M.Phil and P.hD varies between 1-2 years each.

NEET Examination 2023
Ranchi University takes in NEET Examination scores for their admission in the courses of BDS, MBBS, MD, and MS. The NEET-UG examination will be conducted offline mode with pen and paper and will have a duration of 3 hours. The examination will be of 720 marks in total. The question paper will have English, Hindi, Tamil, Telegu, Bengali as its conducting languages. The candidates have to fill the application form online and upload all the necessary details such as their basic information, course details, upload photograph, and signature, choose the exam centre, and pay the application fee as asked. The syllabus of NEET will have main subjects of Physics, Chemistry, and Biology. The candidates can prepare for the NEET examination accordingly. GATE Examination 2023
The University takes in GATE scores for admission in M.Tech courses. The Candidates can fill the application form online mode by uploading all the necessary documents required such as personal details, academic details, etc., and the payment of the fees. Candidates can visit the official website and download their results from there. Followed by the results the university will have CCMT counselling for all the qualified students. There will be a total of 65 questions for the duration of 3 Hours. Each correct answer will be awarded 1 mark while 1/3 be deducted for the wrong one. The GATE Syllabus will consist of General aptitude, English, Statistics, Electronics and communication engineering, Mathematics, and English as main subjects.
CAT Examination 2023
The University takes in CAT Examination 2023 for admission in the MBA programme. The registration for the same will soon be going to start in the month of July. The candidates who have completed their graduation with 50% are eligible to apply for the examination. The candidates can fill the form through online mode and have to give all their details such as name, date of birth, email id, educational qualifications at the time of registration along with the registration fees declared. The admit card of the examination will also be issued only to registered candidates. The paper will be conducted in slots and will be in English medium only. There will be a total of 100 questions and will be of 3 hours. With each correct answer, the candidates will be awarded 3 marks while 1/3 be deducted for the wrong one. The main syllabus of CAT will be from the topics like verbal ability & reading comprehension, data interpretation, Quantitative ability as main subjects.
Ranchi University Counselling
The counselling for all courses will commence as soon as the result for CAT/ CMAT/GATE will be released. The university will conduct centralized counselling for all the courses. Candidates have to attend the counselling as per the prescribed schedule. In counselling candidates will be allotted the seats on the basis of their ranks. The seats will be offered only after the verification of documents and submission of counselling fees. Candidates also have to confirm their ranking on the examination given by them. Seat allotment will be done on the basis of the merit list released by the University. The candidates have to select the appropriate centre for counselling and must compulsorily be present on the day of respective counselling.
