Sambalpur University UG Admission 2023
Sambalpur University also offers various courses and Distance Education off-campus courses. These courses include B.A. with four different specializations as well as B.Com and BCA degrees. The duration of these UG-level courses is three years.
At the PG level, The University offers MBA, MCA (Regular and lateral entry), and PG Diploma courses in computer applications. The duration of the MBA Course is of two years. The MCA course through regular entry is for a duration of three years whereas MCA through lateral entry is for a duration of two years and the PG Diploma course is offered for a duration of one year.

Sambalpur University PG Self-financing courses Admission
Sambalpur University, apart from the regular PG Courses, also offers various self-financing courses at the postgraduate level which includes MA, M.Sc., MSW, M.Tech and MBA degrees.
- The M.Sc., M.Tech and MBA course is of 2 years duration except for Executive MBA which is offered for a duration of 3 years.

Sambalpur University M.Phil & Ph.D Admission 2023
Sambalpur University offers a one-year M.Phil courses in 17 different specializations and Ph.D course is offered for the duration of 3 years under 24 departments. The eligibility criteria for this is that the candidates must have passed in the master’s degree with 55% marks. Admission is offered on the basis of marks in the entrance test followed by viva-voce and Interview rounds. Candidates can check below:
- Candidates with Masters degree in Life Science or allied subject are eligible for admission to M.Phil (Life Science)
- Candidates with Master’s degree in Science, Engineering, Technology or Science-Based subject are eligible for admission to M.Phil (Environmental Science)

M.Phil & Ph.D Application Process 2023
- Go to the Official Website of Sambalpur University and click on ‘Online Admission’
- Download the application form and pay the application fee of INR 500 (INR 1500 for Ph.D through State Bank Collect).
- The candidates filled the application form and send it to the university.
Documents required to be attached:
- 2 Passport Size Colour Photograph
- Attested copies of mark sheet and certificate
- Caste certificate (if applicable)
- Undertaking from signed by the applicant and his/her guardian
