Candidates must have passed SSC (10th Standard) examinations from a recognized board with at least 35 percent in aggregate to be admitted to diploma programs.
The results of the SU-JEE exam are also used to determine admission to Diploma courses.

Sandip University provides full-time and part-time Ph.D. programs in a variety of fields. A master's degree from a reputable university is the preferred qualification for admission. To give admission to the Ph.D. program, the university administers the SUN Ph.D. Entrance Test (SUNPET).
M.Phil., UGC-NET, JRF, UGC-CSIR, SLET, GATE, and CAT candidates are not required to take the SUNPET. They must, however, apply online by completing the application form, paying the application cost online, and submitting scanned attested copies of all required papers. Candidates who score 50% or higher on the SUNPET will be invited for a personal interview.
