SBU Ranchi offers Bachelor courses in 4 different departments namely Engineering & Technology, Commerce & Management, Yoga & Naturopathy, Social Sciences & Humanity. For admission in BTech programme, candidates need to pass class XII with a minimum aggregate of 45% with Physics and Maths as compulsory and either one of Chemistry/ Biotechnology/ Biology/ Technical Vocational subject as optional subjects. Sarala Birla University offers three year Diploma programme in Engineering under five different specializations i.e

SBU Ranchi Diploma Engineering Eligibility
The basic eligibility for admission is passed in 10th or Secondary Examination with a 35% score in aggregate. For such candidates, they should have qualified the State-level Polytechnic Entrance Test/ SBU Entrance Test. Candidates who fulfill either of the following conditions are eligible to apply for a Lateral Entry into the second year of Diploma Engineering.
