• Should have passed Master's degree or equivalent degree with minimum 55% marks in aggregate or equivalent CGPA from a recognised board/institute.
• Candidates possessing an M.Phil degree or a degree considered to M.Phil degree from a foreign educational institution accredited by an Assessment & Accredited agency in their home country will be eligible to apply.
• Applicants who have cleared the M.Phil with minimum 55% marks or its equivalent from a recognised board/university.

• Applicants must have passed B.Tech in Biotechnology / Bioinformatics /Medical Biotechnology / Life Science with minimum 50% marks for Gen/OBC and 45% marks for SC/ST candidates in any stream from a recognised board. 

OR

• Candidates must have passed PG in any stream with minimum 50% marks for GEN/OBC and 45% marks for ST/SC candidates. The written test is compulsory.

OR

• Should have passed M.Sc. in Biotechnology / Microbiology / Bioinformatics / Biosciences / Life Science with at least 55%marks for Gen/OBC candidates and 50% marks for ST/SC applicants.

OR

• Minimum aggregate 50% marks for GEN/OBC and 45% marks for SC/ST candidates at Graduation with Life Science from a recognised board.

OR

• Should have M.Tech in Biotechnology / Microbiology / Bioinformatics / Biosciences / Life Science with minimum aggregate marks of 55% marks or CGPA for GEN/OBC candidates and 50% marks for SC/ST candidates.

Applicants should have passed MBA or equivalent with minimum 55% marks for GEN/OBC candidates and 50% marks for ST/SC candidates from a recognised University. Also, the written test is mandatory.

Shri Ramswaroop Memorial University Application Process

Candidates seeking admission to Shri Ramswaroop Memorial University should register on the portal of the university by following the below-mentioned steps:

• Visit the website of Shri Ramswaroop Memorial University.
• Register by clicking on the ‘New User Signup’ option in the new user section.
• After registration, a verification mail will be sent to candidates’ registered e-mail ID. Click on the ‘Confirm registration’ link.
• Log in again to the admission portal by clicking on the ‘Registered User’ link.
• Candidates have to enter their personal details such as - Candidate’s Name, Date of Birth, Gender, and Parent's details.
• Mention Address, Phone Number, City, state, and Pin code.
• Choose the course for which they want to pursue as per their eligibility.
• They must submit the application fee of Rs 500/- for Diploma courses and Rs 1000/- for other courses through Debit / Credit Cards, Net Banking and via other sources of Digital payments. Fee once paid will not be refunded in any case by the authority.
• Upload the documents, fill the details asked in the application form and submit the same.

• From the web portal of the university the candidates can download the form by entering the details viz; name, mobile number, email id, state, course level, etc.
• Fill the form with the details asked and submit the form along with the DD and documents to the university address.

• Self-attested copy of board examination certificate of Class X and XII mark sheet
• Self-attested copy of bachelor’s degree or provisional degree(if any)
• Scanned copy of Photograph and Signature
• Community certificate, SC/ST/OBC (as assigned by competent authority)
• A certificate with reference to Kashmiri migrant, sports quota or extracurricular activities (ECA) quota (if applicable)
