SCSVMV University of Sri Chandrasekharendra Saraswathi Viswa Mahavidyalaya was established in the year 1993 and is deemed to be a university. The university is spread in an area of 50 acres (200,000 m2) at Enathur, four kilometers from Kanchipuram and 80 kilometers from Chennai. The Ministry of Human Resources Development declared the institution a 'Deemed University under Section 3 of the UGC Act. The university is affiliated to the UGC, AICTE, AIU, NAAC, CSI, CII, British Council. The university offers various UG, PG, and other courses in different faculties like Management, Education, Engineering & Technology, Science, Social Science & Humanity, Health & Life Science, Languages and Sanskrit, and Indian Culture.
