SRMUNIV or S.R.M. Institute of Sciences and Technology is a deemed to be University was established in the year 1985 in Kattankulathur, Kanchipuram, Tamil Nadu. Formerly it was known as the SRM Engineering College under the University of Madras. SRM Institute of Science and Technology includes six campuses, three in Tamil Nadu - Kattankulathur, Vadapalani, and Ramapuram one is in Delhi NCR, Sikkim, and Amaravati. It has 42 blocks, spread over 250 acres, and Language Lab - specializing in English, German, Japanese, French & Chinese. The university offers various Undergraduate, Postgraduate, and Research courses in different areas viz; Engineering, Medicine, Dental & Health Sciences, Management, Law, Agricultural Sciences, and Humanities.
- SRM Kattankulathur Campus Admission is based on the SRMJEEE entrance exam, which is conducted by the university. The exam is held in two phases, and the cutoff for admission varies depending on the course and the branch of study.
