SRM University formerly known as the Shri Ramasamy Memorial University was established in the year 2013 and is recognized as the private university created by the Shri Ramasamy Memorial University, Sikkim Act, 2013 (Act No.13 of 2013). The university is recognized by the University Grants Commission / Competent Authorities. This venture was started by the SRM Group, which has more than 3 decades of experience in the education management industry. The SRM University, Sikkim provides the undergraduate and postgraduate programs under 3 main constituent faculties namely, School of Management & Commerce, School of Information Technology, and School of Hospitality and Tourism Studies. The semester pattern of examinations and credit system is followed for all the programs in SRM University. Financial Aid and Scholarships are provided to students belonging to reserved communities and Scholarships are provided to deserving candidates.
