TNPESU Application Form 2023 

• The application form has been released in the TNPESU official website tentatively from the second week of July 2023. 
• Candidate can either visit the university office in person/ by post or by post on payment by Demand Draft.
• Candidates are requested to check all the eligibility, of course, they wanted to apply.
• All the necessary documents are needed to be uploaded by the candidates.
• The candidates need to cross-check all the details filled by them in the Application form for further verification. If the details are found to be incorrect the form will immediately be rejected. 
• Candidates are also required to pay the application fees along with the attached documents through a Demand Draft/ Cash Challan in favour of the university. 
• It is advised to candidates to keep a copy of the application form and fee payment receipt after the successful submission of the form for future use.

Application Fees 

The application fees amount is non - refundable once it is paid. The application amount is as follows:

• Rs. 300/-, if the application form is obtained in person.
• Rs. 375/- if taken via post.

• Migration Certificate.
• Character certificate.

• Sports Achievements/ Participation Certificate
• Graduation mark sheet( if required).

How to fill TNPESU Application form 2023? 

• The applicants have to first download the form from the TNPESU Official Website i.e. tnpesu.org/. 
• The first step is to fill in all the personal details of the respective candidates such as personal id number, full name, class 10th and 12th mark sheets, date of birth, nationality, address, gender etc. 
• The next step we have to enter all the academic qualifications regarding the candidate. 
• Attach all the mark sheets and documents asked for. 
• The candidates have to then pay the application fees (Non - refundable) by Demand Draft or Cash Challan.  
• After completing the form, please review the form carefully and then submit it on the address below:

TNPESU UG Admissions 2023 

The University offers B.Sc. in Exercise Physiology and Sports Coaching course and a Bachelor of Physical Education of three-year duration at UG level. The minimum eligibility required for the programmes is to have completed 10+2 from a recognized board. The duration for all UG programmes is for 3 years each while Diploma is for 1 year. The final admission will be based on the merit of the qualifying examination. For more details candidates can refer the table below. 

TNPESU PG Admissions 2023 

The University offers various courses such as M.Sc, MBA, M.PeD and MTech at PG Level. The candidates need to pass graduation from a recognised university to apply for the PG courses. The final selection will be based on the merit of the last qualifying examination except for MBA and M.Ped for which candidates have to give entrance examination conducted by the University. The duration of the programmes is for 2 years. For more details, candidates can refer to the table below. 

TNPESU P.hD & M.Phil Admissions 2023 

TNPESU offers P.hD courses of two-year duration with an M.Phil or a three-year duration in its academic curriculum. Candidates who have completed M.Sc, M.Phil, or master's degree n relevant disciplines are considered eligible to get admission in P.hD Course. The final selection will be based on the merit of the entrance examination conducted by the University along with the personal interview. Candidates who have already given NET/ SLET/GATE are exempted from the examination. For more details candidates can refer to the table below.

The following are the criteria given below for attaining the TNPESU Scholarships 2023.  

Sports Scholarship and Cash Incentive for Meritorious Sports Persons

Level of achievement : Interdistrict / RDS / BDS
Gold-50%,Silver -40%, and Bronze -30%

-Category: II
Level of achievement: South Zone Inter-University Competitions
Gold-75%, Silver-60%, Bronze -50%, 4th Place-40% and Participation-25%

-Category: III
Level of achievement: All India Inter-University competitions
Gold-100%, Silver-75%, Bronze -60%, 4th Place-50% and Participation-30%

-Category: IV
Level of achievement: Sub-junior / Junior /Senior Nationals
Gold-100%, Silver-75%, Bronze -60%, 4th Place-50% and Participation-30%

-Category: V
Level of achievement: International Representation - 100%

(The candidates will be selected for sports scholarship only on the basis of certificate verification and selection trials in his specialization game.)

Tamil Nadu Physical Education and Sports University  Counselling 2023 

The University will start the counselling procedure soon after the merit list is released for the courses and the results declared for the Entrance examination. The  Selected Candidates have to be present at the scheduled time and place along with the original documents to be verified at the time of Counselling. Final seats will be allowed only after the counselling procedure. The candidates will be informed about their admission either through emails or calls. 

Tamil Nadu Physical Education and Sports University 

Tamil Nadu Physical Education and Sports University is an affiliation university established in 2004 exclusively for Physical Education and Sports. At present, the University has three faculties, five departments, and 10 affiliated colleges. Further recently, the university now offers selected courses of Physical Education and allied courses, through collaborative programme and Distance education stream also. The University also provides various facilities to the students such as sports complexes, hostel facilities, great infrastructure, etc. The professors and Coaches are also very well experienced and qualified in their stream. Overall it is a great university for candidates interested in Sports and Physical education.
