Telangana University Nizamabad Admission 2023 Undergraduate Course
Telangana University Nizamabad offers undergraduate courses in various disciplines. The selection of the candidate is on the basis of merit-based. - In every course of study, 85% of the available seats are reserved in favour of the local candidates from the districts of Nizamabad and Adilabad. The reservation, however, does not apply to any course of study in which the total number of available seats does not exceed three.
- Candidates will be chosen on the basis of merit scored in OUCET for MA, MSW, M.Com and M.Sc. The score of TSICET will be considered for admission in MBA and MCA program

Facilities
- Hostel: Hostel accommodation is provided to all the students with adequate facilities.
- Laboratory: The college has well-equipped laboratories with all the necessary apparatus and instruments. A Computer laboratory with six systems is an additional attractive feature of this campus.
- Central Library: The library has a good collection of textbooks, the latest reference books, and collected volumes. Books on other subjects such as Computers and General English are also available. Library subscribes to scientific journals and also various other periodicals and Magazines useful in updating knowledge as supporting knowledge materials.
Reservation
Following are the reserved categories as decided by the University:
- 85% of the available seats are reserved in favor of the local candidates from the districts of Nizamabad and Adilabad.
- The remaining 15% of seats can be filled by the unreserved categories or non-locals for Andhra Pradesh.
Apart from this, other categories for reservation includes 15% for SC, 6% for ST, 29% for BC, 3% for PH candidates, 0.5% for sports, 2% for children of armed personnel.
Telangana University Counselling
Telangana University Nizamabad will begin counselling for all eligible and qualified students. Candidates are expected to attend the counselling round on the date specified at the venue to ensure their admission. Telangana University Nizamabad
Telangana University was established through Act Number 28 of the State Government in the year 2006. The University was established with an objective to make higher education accessible to the educationally backward District of Nizamabad in Telangana. Telangana University has been the prestigious NAAC "B" Grade with a good score of 2.61 in the first cycle assessment carried out in December 2015. The University is the first among the newly formed universities in the state to get the University Grant Commission (UGC) 12B recognition. Thus, making itself eligible for the UGC grants. At least half a dozen teaching staff members have got the UGC-sponsored Major and Minor Projects. Many Research scholars have also got the Rajiv Gandhi National Fellow Ships offered by the UGC. It is the third-largest University next only to Osmania University (Hyderabad) and Kakatiya University (Warangal) in Telangana State. It is clearly a front runner among all other newly formed universities like Satavahana University (Karimnagar), Mahatma Gandhi University (Nalgonda), and Palamuru University (Mahaboobnagar)
