Kerala University Admission 2023 is done on the basis of candidate merit in the national/state level entrance exam. Admission to BTech and BArch Programme is on the basis of KEAM score. Admission in all UG courses except BFA, BPA, and BPEd programmes is on the basis of merit. For admission in BFA, BPA, and BPEd courses, the university conducts its own entrance test. For all the Law programmes, candidates have to appear in the KLEE exam. For PG, MPhil, and Ph.D. course admission, the university conducts its own entrance test followed by an interview. Kerala University UG Courses Application Process:  Aspirants can apply online by visiting the official website of Kerala University. Students have to pay Rs 350 for general (Rs 150 for SC/ST) as application fee either online or through challan in any branch of SBI. In the case of payment through challan, the candidates have to retain the university copy as it will be required at the time of final admission.

Kerala University B.Tech & B.Arch Admission 2023

Kerala University offers B.Tech and B.Arch course in the various disciplines at the UG level. Candidates need to qualify in KEAM to secure admission in these courses. Candidates can also apply based on NATA score for admission to B.Arch course.  As a part of the selection process, KEAM qualified students have to attend the counseling session which will be organized by the Government of Kerala after the announcement of the result. Key Points:
  • Candidates with valid sore in any of the following entrance exam- DBT-JRF/ DST-INSPIRE/ UGC NET/ CSIR NET/ GATE/ ICAR/ ICMR or SLET are exempted from PhD entrance exam.
  • M.Phil entrance test is a three-hour test which consists of 50% question fro Research Methodology and 50% form the subject concerned.

Kerala University Application Process

Candidates must remit the cost of the Application form and Prospectus (Rs. 250/-) in order to complete the online application process.

  • Fees shall be remitted through Demand Draft (DD), drawn in favor of the Finance Officer, University of Kerala, Thiruvananthapuram, and payable at Thiruvananthapuram.
  • The fee should be remitted by pay-in-slip at the Cash Counters at the University Office, Palayam, Thiruvananthapuram, and at the University Campus, Kariavattom.

Candidate should follow the given steps in order to complete the online application process:

  1. Remit the application fee.
  2. Log on to “www.ideku.net”
  3. Click the button ‘Apply Online’
  4. Select the course of study
  5. Fill-in the On-line application form
  6. Submit the Application
  7. Take a printout of the Acknowledgment
  8. Send the Acknowledgement with fee and document (TC and Qualifying Certificates in ORIGINAL, Photocopy of SSLC, etc.)

Kerala University
