Vignan Guntur Ph.D. Admission 2022
In a variety of fields, Vignan University provides a Ph.D. programme in full-time, part-time, and external forms. The minimum eligibility requirement is a master's degree in a related discipline with a cumulative grade point average of at least 60%. Academic performance (20 percent weightage for UG degree and 30% weightage for PG degree), previous experience (5 percent weightage), publications (5 percent weightage), and written test and interview (15 percent and 25% weightage respectively) are used to make the selection.

- V-SAT'20 qualified students will be given priority in the allocation of scholarship places.
- Scholarships are reserved for 25% of the total seats in each department. There are 5% of seats with a 75 percent scholarship, 10% of seats with a 50 percent scholarship, and 10% of seats with a 25 percent scholarship available. (For example, out of 60 seats, 3 seats have a 75% scholarship, 6 seats have a 50% scholarship, and 6 seats have a 25% scholarship.)

- Scholarships are reserved for 25% of the total intake capacity in each department for M.Tech and MCA programmes. There are 5% seats with a 100% scholarship, 10% seats with a 50% scholarship, and 10% seats with a 25% scholarship.
- Out of the total intake capacity seats in the department, 5% are reserved with a 100% scholarship, 25% with a 50% scholarship, and any number of seats with a 25% scholarship.
Sports Quota
10 seats are reserved for sports quota students who competed in individual/track events at the state or university level and received a 75% scholarship for four years of study. Another ten seats have been set aside with a 50% scholarship for four years of study for those who competed in individual/track events at the District level.
Scholarship for SC/ST Students
As part of the institution's social obligation to the community, all SC/ ST admitted students are eligible for a 25% tuition fee scholarship.
Scholarship for Vignan Alumni
In all years of the UG/PG programmes, students having completed the qualifying course at Vignan institutions are eligible for a 10% tuition fee scholarship.
Scholarship for Spouse/ Son/ Daughter of Vignan University Staff
For students who are the spouse/son/daughter of a Vignan's Deemed to be University employee, a scholarship of 20% of the tuition cost is granted in all years of the UG/ PG programmes.
Scholarship for own Brother/ Sister
For students who studied/study in Vignan's Deemed to be University, 10% of the tuition cost is granted as a scholarship in all years of the UG / PG programmes.
Scholarship for wards of Children of Armed Personnel (CAP)
For the kids of Children of Armed Personnel, 10% of the tuition cost is granted as a scholarship in all years of the UG / PG programmes.
Scholarships will be available for the duration of their studies only if the student has received a 70% grade in the previous year with no backlogs.
Scholarships for PhD program
Faculty working in Vignan's Institutions who are enrolled as PT (Part-Time) research researchers will be awarded a 50% tuition price subsidy for four years from the date of admission.
HTRA for Ph.D. Scholars
A uniform Half Time Research Assistantship (HTRA) / stipend of Rs.25,000/- per month for Engineering and Rs.18,000/- for Science, Management, and Humanities streams will be provided for selected full-time Ph.D. Scholars from the date of admission for a period of four years or until the date of thesis submission, whichever comes first.
