DCAC College Delhi Undergraduate Admission 2020

Delhi College of Arts and Commerce offers UG courses under its various departments. All the courses are for a duration of 3 years. The best of four scores in the 12th board exam is the criteria for Delhi College of Arts and Commerce admission 2020. For B.Com (Hon) and BA ( Hon) applicant should get 45 % in 12th board exam. The syllabus for each course has been designed to equip the students with an intellectual and inter-disciplinary approach. For admission in the undergraduate programs of Delhi College of Arts and Commerce, candidates must have scored above the cut-off percentage in the qualifying examination. Selection Criteria

General Criteria:

  • The admission to all the UG courses will be based on merit.
  • The candidates need to score the minimum cut-off marks declared by the college for each course.
  • There is no minimum age for the UG courses, except for the professional courses.
  • The candidate’s qualifying marks will be counted for the language subject and the marks of the three highest scored elective subjects.

The University of Delhi has a pre-admission application form available for admission which is centralized for most of its affiliated colleges. While applying to any regular course at Delhi College of Arts & Commerce (DCAC) (Delhi University), the students would only be required to fill the application form. The eligible candidates seeking admission based on extra-curricular activities and sports are exempted from this. However, once the cut-off lists are announced, the selected students for admission would be required to fill in Delhi College of Arts & Commerce (DCAC)’s Pre-admission form before taking admission in the college

Admission for Reserved Categories

  • Separate cut-off percentage will be declared for each category
  • There will be no additional criteria for the reserved categories
  • For each category, there would be separate cut-off percentages declared. No additional eligibility criteria will be required for the candidates from all the reserved categories. Students will be required to submit their reserved category certificate which should be self-attested
  • In all UG courses, 3% of the seats are reserved for the candidates who have a physical disability (the disability should not be less than 40%)

Candidates must visit the website of the Delhi University for online registration. The university has a common registration form for admission to all UG courses.
  • Visit the Delhi University official website.
  • Register and create their login credentials.
  • The applicants have to register to choose the college and courses of their choice.
  • After successful registration, the candidates must click on the “Apply Now” button.
  • Female applicants can choose to apply for NCWEB.
  • Fill all the eight sections of the application form correctly.
  • The candidates need to upload the necessary documents.

Documents Required

Delhi College of Arts and Commerce will accept self-attested xerox copies of document papers submitted by students. If the candidate is unable to submit the requisite documents by the required date, her admission will automatically stand canceled.

The students shall be required to submit the following self-attested documents along with the application form in original:

  • Transfer Certificate from school /college as well as Migration Certificate from Board/University is required from those students who have passed the senior secondary exam from outside Delhi.
  • Passport size self-attested photographs.
  • Foreign students need to submit a copy of Visa and Passport.

Delhi College of Arts and Commerce International Student Admissions 2020

All the foreign students would be offered admission through the Office of the Foreign Students Advisor. All the international students are expected to undergo a medical examination within one month of their admission according to the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India. The admission of all the international students will only be confirmed after the results of the medical fitness examination and the admissions would remain provisional till then.
