Hindu College UG Admissions 2020 

The Hindu College offers various Undergraduate courses in various disciplines of commerce, science, arts etc such as B.Sc (Hons), BA, B.Sc (Hons), B.Com (Hons) etc. The candidates are eligible to apply for the courses once they have completed their 10+2 from recognised board with minimum percenntages required. The final selection will be on the basis of cut - off released by University of Delhi. If the applicant meets the cut-off, he/she is eligible for admission.  Also the candidate must have selected Hindu College and the subject they wish to study, as an option in the Common Application Form while submitting on the DU website. Hindu College PG Admissions 2020 

Hindu College offers various courses under postgraduation in various disciplines of  science, arts, commerce etc such as M.Com, MA, M.Sc etc. The candidates can apply for the courses once they qualify the DUET 2020 and have passed their bachelor's degree in relevant disciplines and minimum percentages required.  For direct admissions, candidates must have atleast scored 60% marks while for indirect admissions candidates can appear for DUET 2020 with 50% marks in last qualifying exam. Students must refer to the common prospectus released by DU every year stating the eligibility requirements for different courses, department wise. The final selection will be based on merit in the entrance exam followed by interview. Hindu College Application Process 2020 

A common UG Application Portal is opened by DU to invite applications for admissions. Admissions to PG Courses can be applied once the candidates completes its Undergraduation. Candidates are requested to check all the eligibility of course they wanted to apply. 
  • Students must first register themselves once through the Online portal on Hindu College Official Website
  • After registering, the students can login with their credentials set at the time of registration to fill the online form.
  • The online form must be filled with utmost sincerity as changes in the application would not be entertained. 
  • Only one login id must be used per application.
  • Students must carefully select the college and the subjects they wish to pursue for UG & PG. 
  • Fill in all the personal details of the respective candidates such as personal id number, full name, class 10th and 12th marksheets, date of birth, nationality, address, gender  etc
  • The next step we have to enter all the academic qualifications regarding the candidate. 
  • Upload all the marksheets in the prescribes format and size.
  • The application would be considered if it is submitted with the application fee.
  • Students can log on to their portals to know about the updates and can also access cut-offs released by different colleges.
  • If the candidate is eligible for admission, they can report to only that college where they meet the cut-off. They must carry the following documents:
    • Original marksheets of class X and XII
    • Character Certificate
    • Provisional Certificate 
    • Class X and XII passing Certificate
    • Self- attested copies of all the above given documents for submission.

Hindu College Cut Off 2020

The Delhi University will release the Hindu College cut off 2020 in online mode. All those candidates who have filled the admission form of Delhi University can check the cut off of Hindu College 2020 by visiting the official website of the college/ DU UG online portal. Hindu College cut off 2020 is the minimum qualifying marks which a candidate must obtain in order to be eligible for admission in courses offered by the college. The cut off of Hindu College 2020 varies depending upon the categories and programmes.

Hindu College Scholarships

The following scholarships are offered at Hindu College for its students:

  • Premvati Raghubir Singh Scholarships: Two scholarships awarded every year among resident students who have obtained a I Division in the last examination taken and are in need of financial help.
  • R.B. Ram KishanDass Scholarships: 25 scholarships awarded every year to needy and deserving students of the College provided they have secured at least 55% marks in the last examination taken. Scholarships will usually be tenable for one year.
  • Ch. Bhagwan Sahai Chauhan Memorial Scholarships: One scholarship awarded every year to the student joining M.A. Sanskrit/ Hindi (P). and (F) securing the highest marks amongst those getting the First Division. One scholarship awarded every year to a Chauhan Rajput student of BA(H) I/II/III Year of Arts / Humanities who has secured a good division in the last examination taken.
  • Rai Achhru Ram Scholarships: 4 scholarships awarded every year on merit to M.A./ M.Sc. students of the College.
  • S.P. Raina Memorial Scholarship: 1 scholarship in the memory of late Shri S.P. Raina, Senior Faculty in English, Hindu College, Delhi, awarded every year to a BA (H) III Year student of Arts/ Humanities/ Commerce on the basis of performance in the University examination in Ist and IInd year.
  • LalaPrem Lal Gupta Memorial Scholarship: 1 scholarship awarded every year on a merit-cum-means basis.
  • Jeevan Lal Khanna Memorial Scholarships: 2 scholarships awarded every year on a merit-cum-means basis to Science Students
  • Rajiv Mehra Memorial Scholarship: warded every year to a needy and deserving student who is not a recipient of any Government, University, College Scholarship or any other scholarship, and it is usually tenable for one year
  • Master Sheoprasad Memorial Scholarship: Awarded per month for a year, to a BA /BSc Mathematics student of II/III year on merit –cum-means basis.

Counselling 2020 

The counselling for all courses will commence as soon as the result for DUET and cut -off 2020 will be released. The college will conduct the counselling under the guidelines of Delhi University. Candidates have to attend the counselling as per the prescribed schedule. In counselling candidates will be alloted the seats on the basis of their ranks. The seats will be offered only after the verification of documents and submission of counselling fees. Candidates also have to confirm their ranking on the examination given by them. Seat allottment will be done on the basis of the merit list released by the University. The candidates will be given  the appropriate centre for counselling and must be compulsorily be present at the day of respective counselling.
