For registering in Maulana Azad Medical College, it is compulsory for the candidates to register themselves in University of Delhi Online Portal. To apply for MAMC, the following admission procedure has to be followed :

Candidates also need to apply for NEET UG/PG/SS, before applying for any course in MAMC since the College takes in admission on the basis of NEET. Candidates can follow the steps below to register for NEET:
MAMC offers MBBS program under the Undergraduate course.The duration for the undergraduate course is 5.5 years and the intake capacity for MBBS is 250 students per batch. The course is recognized by the Medical Council of India and affiliated to the University of Delhi. Those Students who have completed their 10+2 with PCB as main subjects with minimum 50% in aggregate can apply for the course. The Final selection of the candidates will be based on the rank obtained in NEET UG. For more details candidates can refer the table below.

MAMC offers MD, MS, M.Ch and Diploma course in its Undergraduation courses. MD is offered in 10 different specializations, MS in nine different specializations and Diploma in Eight different specializations.There are 153 seats for MD/MS courses and 25 seats for Post Graduate Diploma courses. The candidates can apply for MD, MS and Diploma programme once they have completed their MBBS from a recognised medical college along with the one year rotating internship. For admission to M.Ch programme candidates must have done their MS from a recognised medical institute. Maulana Azad Medical College is soon planning to introduce these short term courses in their academics for the year 2020-2021.
MAMC takes in NEET Examination scores for their admission in the courses of MD, MBBS, DM and MS. The NEET examination is soon to be conducted on September 13, 2020. The NEET UG examination will be conducted through offline mode with pen and paper and will have a duration of 3 hours. The examination will be of 720 marks in total. The question paper will have English, Hindi, Tamil, Telegu, Bengali as its conducting languages. The candidates have to fill the application form online and upload all the necesaary details such as their basic information, course details, upload photograph and signature, choose exam centre, and pay the application fee as asked. The syllabus of NEET will have main subjects of Physics, Chemistry and Biology. The candidates can prepare for the NEET examination accordingly. The NEET Result 2020 is expected to be released in the last week of October 2020. Candidates can download their respective results from the official website.
The College will start the Counselling as soon as the results of NEET UG, PG and SS releases along with the Cut Off for Delhi University. The candidates will be allotted with the the institution in accordance with the ranks and merit held by them. Maulana Azad Medical College is trying this year for Online Counselling. The college offers a scholarship, namely Maulana Azad Student Scholarship Scheme for MBBS students. MBBS students will be awarded by this scholarship based on the college exam scores and the family income. The family income of a student must be less than Rs 1 lakh per annum to apply for this scholarship. Apart from this scholarship, another scholarship, namely Smt Santosh Sharma Memorial Scholarship Scheme is also given to the MBBS students. Those candidates whose family income is less than Rs 2 lakh per annum are eligible for this scholarship.
The Maulana Azad Medical College was well established in 1959 & is the premier medical institute in India. Presently it is controlled by central Government & Delhi Government. It is affiliated to Delhi University & Consistently ranked 5th among top medical colleges of India. It is named after the first education minister Maulana Abdul Kalam Azad.
