Bihar DCECE 2023 Eligibility Criteria

• Nationality:  Candidates must possess Indian Nationality and have the permanent residence of Bihar.
• Educational Qualification: Candidates must pass the higher secondary education from a recognized board.
• For Polytechnic Engineering(PE)
  • Candidates must secure at least 35% marks in the qualifying exam.
  • Candidates should complete the age of 19 years as on 01 July 2023.
• For Part-Time Polytechnic Engineering(PPE)
  • Candidates must clear the class 10 examination or its equivalent exam with 2 years ITI.
  • Candidates should complete the age of 19 years as on 01 July 2023.
• For Para Medical Dental(PMD Matric Level)
  • Candidates must pass the class 10 examination from CBSE/ICSE or recognized board with physics, chemistry, biology and English as compulsory subjects.
  • The minimum age of the candidates should be 15 years and the maximum should be 32 years as on 31 December 2020.
• For Para Medical Dental(PMD Intermediate Level)
  • Candidates should pass the class 12 exam from any recognized board with PCM/B and English as a compulsory subject.
  • The minimum age of the candidates should be 17 years and the maximum should be 32 years as on 31 December 2023

About Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board

BCECEB in India is constituted under Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Act, 1995. It conducts competitive examinations every year for admissions in various professional courses of Engineering and Agricultural, Medical streams in the Institutions of the Bihar state.

Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board (BCECEB) will begin the online application process for DCECE 2020. This exam will be conducted for admission to various polytechnic courses in the field of engineering & non-engineering. Bihar Polytechnic Exam is also called a Diploma Certificate Entrance Competitive Examination (DCECE).
