ICSI CSEET 2023-24 Exam Pattern Updated : Know Marking Scheme & Exam Duration

The Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI) conducts the Company Secretary Executive Entrance Test (CSEET) for students seeking admission to the CS executive programme. It is essential for aspirants to be familiar with the updated exam pattern, marking scheme, and exam duration to crack the ICSI CSEET 2023. The CSEET is a computer-based test consisting of four papers, and the exam duration is 135 minutes, divided into four sessions. The marking scheme includes objective and subjective questions, and candidates must score a minimum of 40% marks in each paper and 50% marks overall to pass the exam. Candidates can prepare for the exam by referring to recommended study materials and practicing mock tests.The CS Examination 2023 has three levels, each of which requires passing three exams:
- The Foundation Program
- Program for Executives
- Professional Development Program
ICSI CSEET 2023 Exam Pattern
The Institute will administer a CS Executive Entrance Test with Objective Type / Multiple Choice Questions and a viva-voce to assess listening, written, and oral communication skills. CS Executive Entrance Test consists of four papers. Each paper has one or more objective style multiple choice questions with four possibilities and one right answer. The test will last 120 minutes and will be followed by a 15-minute viva-voce on presentation and communication skills.
CSEET exam pattern 2023
As per the ICSI CSEET exam pattern, there will be a total of four sections and candidates will be given 120 minutes to answer the questions. There will be no negative marking.

Computer Based Test (CBT)
- Test of 120 Minutes duration will be conducted at designated Test Centres. It will be a Computer.
Viva Voce
The Presentation and Communication Skills (Viva Voce) of 15 Minutes for 30 Marks will
be conducted simultaneously with or immediately after the MCQ based CBT through online mode using artificial intelligence (AI) or through recoded videos at the designated Test Centres.
