CUET 2024 UG will be held between May 15 and 31, 2024. CUET UG 2024 will be conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA). CUET is the Common University Entrance Test formerly known as CUCET. This exam serves as a gateway for admission to 45 UGC-funded Central Universities in India, offering various Undergraduate (UG) programs. The exam is conducted online, providing candidates with a single-window opportunity to seek admission to any of the Central Universities across the country in 13 different languages. CUET test consists of only 12th class syllabus. There is no need for them to study anything extra. Unlike in JEE entrance test, where both the 11th and 12th syllabus is used, CUET will take only the 12th standard syllabus. Students are anyways studying for their board examination, so the entire knowledge is fresh in their minds and within a few weeks of their 12th exam, Common University Entrance Test will be held. The CUET UG and PG exams are held for admission into programmes in 44 central universities, state institutions, private universities, deemed universities, and other participating institutions. CUET UG Latest Updates
- The National Testing Agency (NTA) will conduct the Common University Entrance Test for Undergraduate programmes (CUET UG) in from May 15 till May 31, 2024.

What is CUET UG ?
Answer: CUET UG stands for "Central University Entrance Test (CUET)". It is a national level entrance exam conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) to assess the applicants’ analytical and problem solving aptitude to take admission into undergraduate courses like engineering, medical and management.
CUET UG 2024 Highlights
- CUET UG is an online computer-based test conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) on behalf of the University Grants Commission (UGC).
- The exam is conducted for admission to undergraduate courses in various disciplines offered by central universities across India.

CUET UG 2024 Application Form
NTA has released the CUET UG 2024 Application Form on February 2024 on the official website. Candidates must check the information of the application for which is mentioned below:

CUET 2024 Eligibility Criteria

- UG Courses: Applicants must score at least 50% marks if belongs to the general category and 45% marks for the reserved category in the qualifying exam with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics or Biology as compulsory subjects.
- PG Courses: Applicants need to have 55% marks if belong to the general category and 50% marks for the reserved category in the qualifying exam.

- CUET UG will be conducted in an online mode.
- The duration of the exam will be 2 hours.
- The question paper will consist of Multiple Choice Questions.
- A total of 100 questions will be asked.
- There will be a total of 4 sections in the question paper.
- +3 marks will be given for each correct answer.

CUET UG 2024 Result

About CUET UG Exam
Common University Entrance Test, earlier known as the Central Universities Common Entrance Test- CUCET, is conducted by the NTA. The National Testing Agency conducts the CUET UG for admission into undergraduate, and postgraduate programmes available in several Central Universities in India. The CUET UG can also be adopted by other institutions and Universities.
The website https://cuet.samarth.ac.in/ is the official website for the Central Universities Common Entrance Test (CUCET) UG exam, which is conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) on behalf of the Consortium of Central Universities. CUCET is an all-India entrance examination for admission to various undergraduate courses offered by participating central universities across India. The exam is conducted in online mode and consists of two parts - Part A and Part B. Part A consists of language, general awareness, mathematical aptitude, and analytical skills while Part B consists of subject-specific questions. The exam is held in multiple sessions, and the final admission is based on the rank secured by the candidates and the counseling process conducted by the respective central universities.

List of Central Universities
Ten central universities in the North Eastern Region have been exempted from the Common University Entrance Test (CUET), Ministry of Education has announced.
Special consideration has been given to Sikkim University, Rajiv Gandhi University, Manipur University, Assam University, Tezpur University, Nagaland University, Tripura University, Mizoram University, NEHU and HNBGU Uttarakhand, Under Secretary to the Government of India P.K. Singh in a letter to the University Grants Commission (UGC).These universities can continue their past practices for admission students, he added.
