DSSSB 2022 Exam Pattern: Details, Dates, Key Points, Expected Cutoffs

Exam Pattern for DSSSB Recruitment 2022- The DSSSB Recruitment exam will be administered in a paper-based format. Tier I and Tier II are the two components of the DSSSB recruitment exam. The Tier II test and the Skill Test, on the other hand, may not be valid for all of the positions filled through the DSSSB recruitment procedure.

DSSSB 2022 Exam Pattern

Exam Mode: The DSSSB Recruitment exam will be held in an online mode.
Components: The DSSSB Recruitment exam has two components in both Tier I and Tier II.
Time Duration: The DSSSB Recruitment exam is three hours long.
Section A contains five subjects: English, Reasoning, Mathematics Aptitude, General Awareness, and Hindi, and includes objective type questions.
Section A is worth 100 points.
Section B consists of 200 multiple-choice questions (MCQs) based on the chosen post's subject.
Marking Scheme: One mark will be provided for each correct answer.
Negative Marking: 0.25 marks will be deducted for each erroneous response.

Key Points to remember about the DSSSB Exam Pattern

  • Except for the language papers, which are only in the concerned language, all DSSSB question papers are bilingual (Hindi and English).
  • If the number of candidates who have registered for postcodes where the examination pattern involves two-tier exams is low, the board may decide not to hold the tier-I exam and instead take the tier-II paper.
  • A skill test (also known as an endurance test) is a type of interview that is conducted in accordance with the job requirements of the candidate.

Expected Cutoffs for DSSSB Recruitment 2022

The category-wise cutoff marks are provided as soon as the DSSSB results are announced by the board. To advance to the next round of the exam, applicants must get the minimal cut-off marks. The following elements usually determine the DSSSB cutoff:

  • The exam's level of difficulty
  • Number of Positions Available
  • The number of candidates who took the exam
Candidates must bring the following documents to the Biometric and Photograph Verification:
  • Appointment Offer
  • Police Verification Report
  • Medical Report
  • Service Book
  • ID Proof such as Aadhaar Card, Election Card, Driving License, Passport
