DTE Kerala LET Eligibility criteria 2022 must be first read by the candidates before applying for the DTE Kerala LET Examination. The Directorate of Technical Education Kerala Lateral Entrance Test is the full name of the DTE Kerala LET. Candidates seeking admission to BTech programmes in Kerala must pass the DTE Kerala LET 2022 test in order to begin their studies in the second or third year. This is a state-level exam that takes place only once a year. Applicants must meet the following requirements.
Eligibility for the DTE Kerala LET 2022
- Applicants must have completed a three-year regular degree in engineering or technology and received a diploma in engineering or technology from any State Board of Technical Education of Government of India Institution.
- In the space provided in the body of the application form, aspirants should submit a certificate showing the duration of the course and the details of the certificate granting authority duly validated by the head of the institution concerned.
- Candidates in their last year of a three-year diploma engineering program would be eligible to apply for Kerala LET 2022, provided they have their Qualifying Certificate (Original or Provisional) with them when they apply.
- A candidate's age should not exceed 30 years old.
- Keralites and non-Keralites will be eligible to apply, although non-Keralite admittance will be limited to private self-financing institutions and non-government seats in government-run self-financing institutions.
- Applicants must have completed a diploma course in engineering/technology with a minimum of 45 percent (42 percent for SEBC and OEC categories and 40 percent for SC/ST categories) from any state board of technical education or government-run institutions.
- Applicants who have completed a stream or associated sector in Engineering/Technology with a minimum of 45 percent marks (42 percent for SEBC and OEC categories, and 40 percent for SC/ST categories) from any state board of technical education or government-run institutions.
- Applicants who have completed a BSc in Mathematics from a recognized university with at least 45 percent (42 percent for SEBC and OEC categories and 40 percent for SC/ST categories) will also be eligible to apply.
