HORTICET 2022: Horticulture Common Entrance Test, popularly known as HORTICET, is held by Dr.Y.S.R. Horticultural University (Dr. YSRHU), Venkataramannagudem. It is a well-known state-level pre-agriculture test for applicants interested in pursuing a B.Sc. (Hons.) Horticulture degree. The course is a four-year undergraduate degree programme. HORTICET will be held in Telugu and will be conducted offline. Before you complete out the HORTICET application form, make sure you read and understand the eligibility criteria. Diploma holders will receive 15% of the seats (47 seats) in the B.Sc. (Hons.) Horticulture programme. Local candidates will receive 85 percent of the seats above, while the remaining 15% will be treated as an unreserved quota.

Nationality
The candidate must be a citizen of India.
Educational Qualifications
- The applicant must possess a 2-year horticultural diploma qualification.
- The diploma credential must be from the Andhra Pradesh Horticulture University.
Criteria for age
- The candidate must be over the age of seventeen.
- The candidate's age must not exceed 22 years old.
- Candidates from the reserved category are given an age reduction.
- The age restriction for SC/ST candidates is 26 years.
- The maximum age limit for physically handicapped candidates is 28 years.
Appearing candidates
Appearing Applicants who are currently taking their diploma's final test are also eligible to apply.
