HPU MCA EE 2022 Eligibility Criteria

To fill out the application form, the candidate must meet the HPU MCA 2022 Eligibility Criteria. The HPU MCA 2022 Eligibility Criteria are shown below:

• Candidate must have a Bachelor's degree in any discipline with a minimum of 50% (45% in the case of SC/ST) from an Indian university that is recognized by law.
• At the 10+2 level, the candidate must have Mathematics as a compulsory subject.

OR

• BCA/BSc (IT)/BSc (Computer Science)/BSc Physical Science (Computer Science)/BA with Computer Science/BSc Honors with Computer Science or any graduate with computers as one of the subjects in all three years of graduation with a minimum of 50% marks (45% in the case of SC/ST) from an Indian university established by law.

As of July 1st of the year of admission, the maximum age limit for admission to HPU's MCA programme is 26 years for general students, 29 years for SC/ST applicants, and 28 years for female applicants. The Vice-Chancellor has the authority to grant up to six months' age relaxation.

The following is the seat distribution by category:

• A 25% of the seats will be open to all candidates, regardless of where they completed their qualifying examination, and graduates of this university will be entitled to compete in the competitive test.
• Candidates who have passed qualifying examinations from Himachal Pradesh University, H.P. Krishi Vishwavidyalaya, Dr. Y.S. Parmar University of Horticulture and Forestry, Himachal Pradesh Technical University, and Central University of Himachal Pradesh, or candidates who are Himachal Pradesh Domicile, irrespective of passing qualifying examinations from any other Universities established by law in India, will fill 75% of the seats.
• According to HPU rules, a few places are available for international nationals who apply through ICCR.

HPU MCA EE 2022 Admit Card

• Before taking the exam, all applicants must download and print the HPU MCA 2022 Admit Card, which will be available online.
• Aadhaar/Passport/Driving License/Voter ID must be brought to the examination center in its original form.
  For access to the Examination Hall, candidates must present their Admit Card (HPU MCA 2022) upon demand. The Center-in-Charge will not allow a candidate who does not have a printout of the downloaded admit card and a valid picture ID to enter the Examination Hall.
• Candidates discovered carrying any printed or written textual material, scraps of paper, or any other material other than those stated above within the examination hall will be disqualified from taking the exam and will not be allowed to take it again in the future.
• Cell phones, Bluetooth devices, calculators, slide rules, log tables, and smart watches with calculator technology are not permissible in the examination hall. Possession of such things during the examinations may result in the candidate's candidature being cancelled, as well as a blacklisting for future applications.

HPU MCA EE Result 2022

• The HPU MCA 2022 Result will be declared on the official website of the university where candidates can log in with their credentials to check the result. Candidates who pass the exam will be invited to the Counseling session, which will be discussed in the next portion of the article.
• The minimum qualifying marks for both subsidized and non-subsidized seats in the Entrance Examination shall be 35 percent, i.e. 46 out of 130, and there shall be no minimum qualifying marks restriction in the case of SC/ST.
