IIST Admission 2023 Application form
The application form for the admission to the UG and PG courses will be released soon. Candidates will enrol by filling out the online application form themselves. If the information relating to the applicant is null or wrong the candidate will be disqualified and he/she will not be able to engage in any further process. - Go to the link where Undergraduate Admission 2023 is notified.
- After clicking on the link, the candidate will be redirected to the new page where the application form is mentioned.
- Fill out the required information asked for the registration purpose, after that candidate will provide an ID and password.
- Login from the given ID and Password, Applicants must take note of their identification number and password, as this will be necessary for the details to be further obtained.
- After the registration is completed, the fee payment page will open for applicants to pay the registration fee using SBI-COLLECT.

IIST Admission 2023 Eligibility Criteria
Candidates who want admission to IIST have to go through certain eligibility criteria before applying for the IIST 2023 Admission that is mentioned below.
- Citizenship: Only Indian nationals are eligible to apply for IISTT entry.
- Age Criteria: Candidates belonging to the groups of General, EWS, and OBC-NCL must be born on or after 1 October 1995. Candidates belonging to the groups' SC/ ST and PD must have been born on or after 1 October 1990.
Note: It will consider the date of birth as documented in the High School / First Board/ certificate or its equivalent. If the date of birth is not specified in the certificate, the applicant must apply, at the time of acceptance of the seat, an authenticated document from the competent authority indicating the date of birth of the candidate.
- Minimum Marks Requirement in Qualifying Examination: candidates are now required to only qualify in one of the examinations listed below. This modification is done for
the year 2023 only.
- Final examination of the 10 + 2 scheme by any approved Central / State Board
- 12th grade or two-year Pre-University examination conducted by a recognized Board/University.
- The final assessment of the two-year course at the National Defense Academy's Joint Services Wing.
- Senior Secondary School examination of a minimum of five subjects performed by the National Institution of Open Schooling.

- General Certificate Education (GCE) examination (London/ Cambridge/ Sri Lanka) at the Advanced (A) level.

IIST Admission 2023 UG Ranklist
IIST will prepare a category wise rank list. The list of ranks will be drawn upon the basis of the aggregate marks earned by the applicant in the 2023 JEE (Advanced). If the same aggregate marks are scored by more than one candidate, tie-breaking conditions will be followed.
Tie-Breaking Criteria
The dispute between candidates securing the same aggregate marks will be resolved by applying the procedure indicated in the descending order one at a time below.
- The nominee who has received higher marks in mathematics will be given a higher rank.
- The nominee who has received higher marks in Physics will be given a higher rank.
- The nominee who has received higher marks in JEE Main 2023 Examination will be given a higher rank.
IIST 2023 Cut Off
IIST will release the IIST Cut Off for 2023 admission to undergraduate, post-graduate, doctoral, and post-doctoral programs. The cut-offs will be based on the ranking list and the basis of the candidate's categories. Candidates should review the cutoffs on the IIST official website following the publication of the cutoffs.

IIST Admission 2023 Seat Allotment
Candidates whose names appear in the IIST Admission Rank List, at the time of registration, fill in their branch collection in order of choice for the Undergraduate and Dual Degree programs. Without branch choice, registration WILL NOT be complete.
- Seat allocation to the three branches will be performed in the order of merit according to the preferences filled in by the candidates based on available vacancies.
- Candidates who are comfortable with the seat allocation must choose the choice of FREEZE and proceed to confirm the acceptance of seats.
- For their higher priorities, if any, candidates who select the FREEZE option will not be further considered. Before choosing this choice, candidates are advised to be sure.
- Candidates who want to be considered for their higher preferences but want to confirm their allocated seat must select the SLIDE option and proceed to confirm the acceptance of the seat.
Applicants must submit scanned copies of the following documents before the specified date/time to be notified on the website.
- Class 10th certificate for date of birth verification in it OR birth certificate.
- Class 12th (or equivalent examination) mark sheets (for those candidates who appeared for the examination in 2020 and/or 2023).

About IIST
The Indian Institute of Space Science and Technology, located in Valiamala, Nedumangad, Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala, is a government-aided institute and a university for the study and research of space science. It is the first university in Asia to be devoted exclusively to Outer Space studies and research. The Institute is the first of its kind in the country to provide high-quality education in the fields of space science, space technology, and space applications at the undergraduate, graduate, doctoral and post-doctoral levels.
