JEECUP 2020 stands for Joint Entrance Examination Council Uttar Pradesh which is also commonly known as Uttar Pradesh Joint Entrance Examination (UPJEE). This examination is conducted by Joint Entrance Examination Council, Uttar Pradesh annually.

Students appearing for the exam and further qualifying will allow them to pursue Polytechnic in Uttar Pradesh in various fields listed below:

  1. Engineering and Technology Diploma
  2. Agricultural Engineering Diploma
  3. Fashion Design, Home science and Textile design and engineering Diploma
  4. Library & Information Science/ Modern Office Management & Secretarial Practice
  5. Pharmacy Diploma
  6. Post Graduate Diploma in Bio-Technology
  7. Post Graduate Diploma in various other courses
  8. Hotel Management and Catering Technology diploma

JEECUP 2020 Application Form

The JEECUP 2020 Application Form will be available first on fourth week of December 2019 (Tentative) and will last up to second week of February 2020 (tentative).

Candidates must keep these points in their mind while filling the JEECUP 2020 Application Form:

  • All the information about the candidates should be correct and should not be misleading in any form.
  • Filling up the form multiple times may lead to rejection of the candidature.
  • Recheck everything before the final submission of the form to avoid the hassle.
  • Candidates must check their eligibility criteria before filling up the form otherwise they will face problem at the time of admission.
  • The registered mobile number should be correct and in a working form otherwise, might miss on important information regarding examination and admission.

JEECUP 2020 Eligibility Criteria

JEECUP 2020 Eligibility Criteria is stated below:

  • Age Band: There is no upper age limit but the candidate should be at least 14 years old as on 1st July 2020 Educational Qualification.
  • Domicile: Candidates applying for JEECUP 2020 must be Uttar Pradesh Domicile holders.
  • The Educational Qualification required for different groups are as follows:
  • For Group A (Engineering & Technology Diploma): 10th passed with at least 35% marks
  • For Group B (Agriculture Engineering Diploma): 10th passed with Agriculture and at least 35% marks or 12th with agriculture subject
  • For Group C (Fashion Design, Home science and Textile design and engineering Diploma): 10th passed with a minimum of 35% marks.
  • For Group D (Library & Information Science/ Modern Office Management & Secretarial Practice): For Modern Office Management & Secretarial Practice: 10th passed with 35% marks
  • For Library & Information Science: Passed class 12th
  • For Group E (Pharmacy Diploma): Must have passed 10+2 with Chemistry, Physics and any one of Math, Biology (Zoology and Botany) subject
  • For Group F (PG Diploma in Biotechnology): Should have passed B.Sc with Biology and any one of the chemistry/ biotechnology subject.
  • For Group G (PG diploma courses): Any graduate can apply.
  • For Group H (Hotel Management and Catering Technology diploma): Passed 12th with at least 35% marks
  • For Group I (Aircraft Maintenance Engineering Diploma): Passed 12th with 50% marks in PCM.
  • For Group K (K1 to K8) (Lateral entry in engineering and technology diploma courses): Should have passed Intermediate Science or ITI (minimum 2 years duration).

JEECUP 2020 Admit Card

Candidates who have successfully submitted their application forms will get their JEECUP 2020 Admit Card on the official website by the second week of April 2020. All the eligible candidates are supposed to download their admit cards.

If students are found without Admit Card in the examination hall, there are chances that the authorities might not allow them to sit for the examination.

The particulars of each candidate will be cross-checked from any of their valid ID proof and if any of the particulars are found to be different then actions will be taken accordingly. If there is any discrepancy found in the Admit Card particulars, the candidate should immediately get in touch with the Authority to get it rectified.

JEECUP 2020 Syllabus

JEECUP 2020 Syllabus will contain topics from various subjects studied in the 10th and 12th Standards. For Admission into Engineering, JEECUP exam will contain questions from Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics subjects.

For Admission into Pharmacy, the entrance exam will contain questions from Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics/Biology subjects.

JEECUP 2020 Preparation Tips

JEECUP 2020 Preparation Tips are posted below which are useful for all the candidates appearing for JEECUP 2020 Examination:

  • Students must go through the examination syllabus before they start preparing for it.
  • Students should look up for famous books related to the syllabus or if there is a book available for that particular examination which includes practice sets and previous years through which the students can get an idea of important and frequently asked topics.
  • Students should solve as many questions as possible as it gives an idea of the types of questions asked and how to deal with those questions in less time: also it improves accuracy.
  • Before candidates start preparing for the examination, always set a goal on when to finish particular topics/subjects.

JEECUP 2020 Results

JEST 2020 Results will be posted online on the official website by the third week of May 2020.

The result will contain information like Qualified/Disqualified, Candidates Name, Roll number, Overall Rank, Overall Marks scored etc. A copy of Scorecard would be beneficial in future as it will be referred at almost all times during the admission procedure.

JEECUP 2020 Counselling

JEECUP 2020 Counselling will be held either at the end of May 2020 or starting of June 2020. Based on the performance in the JEECUP 2020 examination, students will be called for Counselling and will get to participate in the admission fare.
