JNU CEEB 2022 Eligibility Criteria : Qualification Required

JNU CEEB 2022 Eligibility Criteria has been released by the NTA (an exam conducting body). The candidates must fulfil the minimum eligibility to appear in the Jawaharlal Nehru University Combined Entrance Examination for Biotechnology. The candidates must have passed the UG level exam in respective subjects from a recognised board/university. On qualifying this exam the candidates will be given admission in courses; M.Sc. Biotechnology, M. Sc. Agricultural Biotechnology, M. VSc. and M. Tech. Biotechnology. The detailed information about the eligibility criteria JNU CEEB is given below in the article.

JNU CEEB 2022 Eligibility Criteria

JNU CEEB 2022 Eligibility Criteria qualification is given below, so candidates must read it carefully. If the candidate is found ineligible at any stage of the admission process the applying institute has the right to cancel their admission.

  • Should have passed Bachelor’s degree in education in Agricultural, Physical, Pharmacy, Biological, Veterinary, and Fishery Sciences,  Engineering/Technology, 4- years of B.Sc. (Physician Assistant Course).

OR

  • MBBS OR B.D.S. degree with minimum 55% marks from a recognised board/university.
M.Sc. (Agriculture) in Biotechnology

Bachelor’s degree with minimum 55% marks or its equivalent grade point average  in the concerned subjects shown hereunder against each university: 

  1. For Assam Agricultural University, Jorhat: B.Sc (Hort), B.Sc. (Agri.), B. Sc. Agril. Biotechnology) from any recognized university. 
  2. For Ch. Sarwan Kumar HP Krishi Vishwavidyalaya, Palampur - Agriculture, Horticulture, Forestry, and Agricultural Biotechnology.
  3. For GB Pant University of Agriculture & Technology, Pantnagar - Veterinary Sciences, Agriculture, Horticulture or Forestry. Students from Bachelor of Science (B.Sc. in ZBC/PCM and B.Sc.(Biotechnology) are also eligible.
  4. For Indira Gandhi Krishi Vishwavidyalaya, Raipur - Agriculture, Biotechnology (Agriculture), Horticulture or Forestry with at least 60% marks or equivalent OGPA in Bachelor's Degree under 10+2+4 pattern are eligible to apply. 
  5. For Kerala Agricultural University Thrissur - Horticulture, Agriculture, or Forestry. 
  6. For Vasantrao Naik Marathwada Krishi Vidyapeeth, Latur (Maharashtra) - Should be a B. Sc./B. Tech. holder in Agriculture, Horticulture, Forestry, Agri. Biotechnology, Bioinformatics for 03/04 Years with minimum 65% or CGPA 6.5 on 10 scales 
  7. For Orissa University of Agriculture & Technology, Bhubaneswar - Applicants must have passed 4 years Bachelor Degree in Horticulture/Agriculture/Forestry with at least 65% marks in aggregate.
  8. For Tamil Nadu Agricultural University, Coimbatore - Bachelor of
    Science degree in Agriculture / Ag. Biotechnology / Horticulture/ Forestry /
    Sericulture or B. Tech in Biotechnology / Horticulture / Bioinformatics under
    with minimum 70% marks or equivalent OGPA. For SC/ST candidates, a pass in the qualifying degree is sufficient.
  9. For University of Agricultural Sciences, GKVK, Bangalore and for University of Agricultural Sciences, Dharwad -  Horticulture, Forestry Agriculture, or Seri-culture or B. Sc. Agril. Biotechnology /Biotechnology/ B. Sc (Ag. Biotech)/ B. Sc (Agri) in Biotechnology 
  10. For DR. Rajendra Prasad Central Agricultural University, Pusa, Samastipur - 4 years of Bachelors degree in Biology (BZC)/ Microbiology / Agriculture/Biotechnology / Horticulture. 
M.V.Sc.Bachelor’s degree with minimum 55% marks or its equivalent grade from any recognized university in the concerned subjects are shown hereunder against each university: 
M.Tech (Biotechnology) Minimum 60% marks or equivalent CGPA from any recognized university in a relevant subject.

Graduates from the general stream may also be admitted in case seat remains vacant, however, they will have to undergo extra 20 credit hours bridge course.

JNU CEEB 2022 Application Form

JNU CEEB 2022 Application Form will be released by the First Week of Sep 2022 tentatively on the official website of NTA. Candidates need to check the eligibility properly before applying. If a candidate is found to be ineligible, the application form will be rejected.
