The JoSAA 2023 important dates have been made available by the Joint Seat Allocation Authority on the official website, josaa.nic.in. Starting from June 19, candidates can commence their JoSAA registration and choice filling, and they are required to complete this process by June 24. In addition, candidates who have qualified the ATT can begin filling their choices from June 24, 2023. On June 30, the first round of JoSAA seat allotment will be announced and candidates can access the JoSAA 2023 seat allotment result using their login credentials. Note - Candidates are asked to note that the above mentioned dates are according to the previous years's schedule till further notifications by the concerning authorities.
The candidates have to register online in order to be able to participate in JoSAA 2023 counselling. If the registration is completed, applicants may
switch to the choice filling process choice. The registration steps are as follows:
A candidate who meets one or more of the following requirements is qualified to participate in the allocation of joint seats.
JoSSA conducts the counselling process to take admission of the students in IITs, NITs, IIEST, IIITs (Triple-I-Ts), and Other-GFTIs. These institutes accept admissions on the basis of
the results of the qualifying examinations given below:

The following steps are for the counselling process JoSAA 2023 :
Registered candidates must complete the choice filling of programs at the official website according to their choice. In this stage, the candidates must include the names of the institutes and the branches offered. Candidates should remember that there is no charge for options to be filled out. All choices must be made within the specified time limit. Choices can not be altered once locked. Before doing the real choice filling, the applicants must plan for choice filling. Make a list of which institutions are preferred and which branch of the institute is preferred.
This list must be in line with the preferences and cutoffs.
Applicants need to pay the fee, upload the necessary documents, and get them checked in order to actually accept the seats allocated to the candidates. The 'Provisional Seat Allocation Letter' and an e-challan for remittance of the seat acceptance fee from the official website must also be downloaded.

Candidates can use either the JoSAA, SBI E-challan, SBI Net Banking platform, or the SBI debit card facility.
Applicants have to upload the appropriate documents after the seats are accepted. Applicants are given admission once the paperwork and fees are submitted. Candidates had to register for offline counselling at their nearest designated reporting centre under usual conditions.

Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) 2023 has been set up by the Ministry of Education [erstwhile Ministry of Human Resources Development (MHRD)] to manage and regulate the joint seat allocation for admissions to 110 institutes for the academic year 2023-22. This includes 23 IITs, 31 NITs, IIEST Shibpur, 26 IIITs and 29 Other-Government Funded Technical Institutes. Admission to all the academic programs offered by these Institutes will be made through a single platform.
