KVPY 2022 Exam Pattern defines the number of questions asked in the KVPY entrance exam, question paper type, marking scheme, etc. Kishore Vaigyanik Protsahan Yojana (KVPY) is a national-level scholarship programme run by the Indian Institute of Science. This programme is mainly organized to encourage candidates who want to pursue a research career in the Science field. KVPY 2022 Exam Pattern
Given below are some important points related to the KVPY 2022 exam pattern:
- Exam Mode: The KVPY aptitude test is conducted in online mode i.e. Computer Based Test mode.
- Date & Shift: The entrance Test for SA Stream will start from 9:00 AM to 12:30 PM. And for SB/ SX Stream, the exam will be conducted from 2 PM to 5 PM.
- Medium of Question Paper: The question paper will be designed in both English and Hindi Language.
- Type of Questions: Multiple choice type questions will be asked in the paper.
- In the SA stream, all the questions are compulsory to attempt.
- While in SB/ SX stream, there is an option to attempt any three sections in PART I & any two sections in PART II .
- Duration of Exam: 180 minutes i.e. 03 hours.
- Sections: The KVPY question paper will contain two sections: PART I & PART II.
- There will be four sections in each PART I & PART II.
- Total Marks: The question paper will consist total of 100 marks.

KVPY 2022 Marking Scheme
The Stream SA & Stream SB/ SX question papers will be a total of 100 marks. In PART I of both the Stream, the candidate will score one mark for correct response & 0.25 marks will be deducted for every incorrect response.
In PART II of Stream SA & Stream SB/ SX, two marks will be awarded for each correct response and 0.5 marks will be deducted for each incorrect answer.
