Meghalaya TET 2022 Notification will be available soon. The Meghalaya Teachers Eligibility Test 2022 will be held in October by the Directorate of Educational Research and Training (DERT), Meghalaya. It is also referred to as the MTET 2022. This exam is used to choose instructors for grades I through VIII. The exam is held once a year at the state level. Before filling out the application form, candidates must read the eligibility criteria to ensure that they are eligible for the exam. Meghalaya TET 2022 Eligibility Criteria

Before submitting an application for MTET 2022, candidates must confirm their eligibility in the following areas:

  • Candidates must be Indian citizens in order to apply for the examination.
  • Candidates must be no older than 27 years old and no younger than 18 years old as of January 1, 2022, with 5-year age relaxation for SC/ST candidates.
  • Candidates from the OBC category who are differently-abled would have their age relaxed by three years.
  • Candidates with a degree or a professional qualification.
  • Any candidate studying any of the NCTE or RCI-recognized teacher education programs.
  • Eligibility restrictions for TET 2020 applicants may be relaxed in the case of a State/UT granted relaxation under sub-section (2) of Section 23 of the RTE Act. The relaxation will be mentioned in the Central Government's announcement made under the Subsection.

Educational Qualification

Classes I-V:
  • Candidates must have qualified for the 12th grade with a minimum of 50 percent (45 percent for SC/ST).
  • Candidates should have completed the NCTE 2-Year Diploma in Elementary Education in addition to their 12th grade.
  • Candidates must have completed the 12th grade with a minimum of 50% (45% for SC/ST) and 4 years of B.El.Ed. or equivalent experience.
  • Candidate should have qualified for the 12th standard with a Diploma in Special Education by scoring a minimum of 50% (SC / ST minimum of 45%).
Classes VI-VIII:
  • Candidates must have qualified for the B.A. / B. Sc by achieving at least 50% on the NCTE 2-Year Diploma in Elementary Education.
OR
  • Candidates must have passed the B. A. / B. Sc standard with a minimum of 50 percent marks (for SC / ST, a minimum of 45 percent marks) with a 1 year B. Ed.
OR
  • Candidates must have passed the B.A. / B. Sc standard with a minimum of 50 percent marks (for SC / ST, a minimum of 45 percent marks) with a 4 year Bachelor course in Elementary Education (B.El.Ed).
OR
  • Candidates should have qualified for the B.A. / B. Sc program with a Diploma in Special Education if they received a minimum of 50 percent marks (SC / ST minimum 45 percent marks).
OR
  • Candidates must have qualified for the 12th standard by scoring 50 percent (45 percent for SC/ST) with a 4-Year B.A/ B.Sc.Ed or B.A.Ed/ B.Sc. Ed.

Meghalaya TET 2022 Admit Card

On the DERT official website, candidates can download their MTET 2022 Admit Card. Check the following information on the hall ticket:

  • The admission card must be downloaded from the official website; the authority will not provide the hall ticket by post or SMS.
  • Candidates must log in with their registration ID and password to download their TET admission card.
  • Candidates must fill out various forms with the necessary information.
  • Candidates should carefully examine their admission cards to confirm that every detail, such as exam day and time, center name and address, and so on, is correct.
  • Candidates are urged to print their admit cards and bring them to the examination center, along with a government ID proof.

Meghalaya TET 2022 Result

The official authorities will announce the MTET result for 2022. On the specified date, candidates can access their Meghalaya TET 2022 results on the official website. The date of the declaration of results will be posted on the official website. Candidates must download the results, which are in the form of a PDF and include the names and contact information of the qualified candidates. Candidates must acquire the minimum required marks in order to be admitted. The certificate will be issued by the authority to those candidates who pass the entrance exam.
