What is the NBE FET? 

The NBE Fellowship Entrance Test (FET) is a medical specialist entrance test conducted by the National Board of Examinations (NBE). It is an online exam that tests fundamental and speciality-specific knowledge, concepts, methods, and procedures. The FET 2023 is an essential first step for any aspiring orthopaedician, neurosurgeon, or radiologist as it is designed to assess each specialist’s ability to apply the knowledge acquired from postgraduate and speciality training.

• Candidates would be able to download the National board of education 2023 application form from the website.
• The Application form could be filled in online mode only.
• Candidates needed to provide all the asked information.
• Candidates should mention the correct information in the application form if the candidate would not fill in the valid information in the application form the candidate would be disqualified from the further procedure.
• Multiple applications from the same candidate would be summarily rejected.
• Candidates must keep ready all the documents ready along with a soft copy of the photograph and signature before filling out the online application form.

• The Application fee for NEET NBE FET 2023 could be paid through both Online modes only.
• Once the Application form was filled and submitted, the candidates could pay the fee.
• Candidates had to pay Rs. 4250/- excluding GST and other charges for Fellowship Entrance Exam.
• Candidates could pay their fees through credit cards, debit cards, or net banking.

NEET NBE FET 2023 Eligibility Criteria

• The candidates must have completed their Post Graduate Medical Degree/ Provisional Pass Certificate (MS/MD/DM) by December 31, 2023.
• The candidate must have a permanent registration certificate of MBBS qualification.
• The candidates waiting for their qualifying exam results after 31 December 2023 would not be eligible to apply for the exam.
• The candidates who are already pursuing DM/ Mch or DNB/FNB courses were not eligible to apply for the FET exam.

This exam is conducted in two parts - Part A and Part B. 40% of the questions shall be from all the eligible feeder broad or speciality courses and the remaining 60% shall be from the Fellowship course selected by the candidate at the time of online submission of the application form. • The admit card is released on 4 February 2023.
• The candidates can get their admit card/hall ticket from the official website.
• The candidates need to download their admit cards on their own.
• No candidate  will get their admit card through the post from conducting authority
• The candidates need to take their admit card along with photo ID on examination day.
• No candidate will be allowed to sit in the examination without admit card or photo ID.

•   The candidates scoring 50% marks and above in the NBE FET entrance exam will be considered qualified.
•   The scorecard will be issued to the candidates and it would be valid for that academic session only.

About the National Board of Examination

The National Board of Examinations (NBE) is an autonomous body under the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare (India), established in 1975 in New Delhi as a Society under the Delhi Society registration act, to standardise postgraduate medical education and examination in India.
