NCHMCT JEE 2023 Counselling: Schedule, Process, Seat Allotment

NCHMCT JEE 2023 Counselling is to be conducted by the National Test Agency(NTA). In the counselling session, the final allotment of seats to the candidates will be done based on the rank obtained by them in the exam and the choices of colleges filled by them in the entrance exam. Shortlisted candidate will be called for counselling with the documents for verification. Selected applicants have to register online to participate in the counselling process and submit their choice of the preferred institute.   • The NCHM JEE round 3 counselling registration for 2023 has begun.
  • Candidates can register online for the third counselling round through the official website - nchmcounselling.nic.in.
  • The registration for the third round will be open until July 7.
  • Payment and document uploading can be done from July 9 to July 11.
  • The NCHM JEE round 3 seat allotment result will be announced online on July 8.
  • Choice filling, modification, and locking can be done from July 4 to July 7.
  • After the first round of NCHM seat allotment for BSc HHA, approximately 8,209 tentative vacancies were released.
  • In the second round of seat allotment, a total of 7,466 seats were made available.
  • The NCHMCT JEE counselling process includes online registration, choice filling, choice locking, seat allotment results, document uploading, and payment to secure the seat.
  • Qualified candidates of NCHMCT JEE are eligible to participate in the counselling, which is conducted in four rounds.

Documents required at the time of NCHMCT JEE 2023 Counselling

Candidates have to bring the following documents along with them for verification on the day of NCHMCT 2023 Counselling:

  • 10+2 level examination certificate from any recognized university.
  • Certificate in support of reservation Claim (if applicable)
  • Class 10th / date of birth certificate
  • NCHMCT JEE 2023 admit card
  • NCHMCT JEE 2023 result/scorecard
  • NCHMCT JEE 2023 application form
  • Medical Certificate

NCHMCT JEE 2023 Counselling Eligibility Criteria

Candidates can check the NCHMCT JEE 2023 eligibility criteria for counselling to avoid rejection at the time for Counselling. 

For First round of counselling
  • All the qualified candidate can apply for the first round of counselling for NCHMCT JEE 2023.
For Second round of Counselling
  • Those candidates who have not reported at allotted institute for document verification after seat allotment in the previous round are not eligible for the second round of counselling.
  • Those candidates whose allotted seat cancelled due to non-fulfilment of documents & other criteria of admission will become permanently ineligible for the entire rounds of counselling.
Who are eligible?

There will be four Groups of eligible candidates :

  • Group-1(Fresh candidates):
Registered applicants who are not allotted any seat in the first round of seat allotment. Those candidates will be permitted to change their earlier submitted choices. If candidates not submitting fresh choices in this round then, their choices submitted during the first round of counselling will be considered for seat allotment.
  • Group-II (Cancelled candidates):

Those candidates whose allotted seat got cancelled in the earlier round of counselling due to non-fulfilment of seat allotment criteria will also be permitted to modify/ add new choices otherwise their existing choices will be considered for seat allotment.

  • Group-III (Reported and Freeze candidates):

Candidates will not be allowed to submit fresh choices for modifying choices. Their earlier allotted seat would be retained.

  • Group-IV (Reported and Float candidates):

Candidates will be permitted to modify/add new choices or else their existing choices will be considered for up-gradation. If candidates want to modify their choices they can do so but their previously allotted seat will remain as a valid choice. The system will not permit the candidates to delete this choice but they can rearrange their choice (Move-UP or Down) as per their preference.

  • For Final round of counselling

All eligible candidates including absentees of the main counselling will be eligible for third and Final Round of Counselling.

NCHMCT JEE 2023 Counselling Procedure

Candidates can refer to the below-given steps to get an idea regarding the NCHMCT JEE 2023 counselling procedure:

1. Online Registration

Candidates have to register online on the official website for the allotment of the seat in the counselling.

2. Personal data Updation

If applicants want they can update their details during the online registration process but they will not be allowed to change their data. Applicants  must cross-check the details mentioned, in case of any discrepancy found, the candidate will be allowed only once to correct the data in respect of Category, PwD, KM and Gender in the following ways:

  • Category from Any to Any is allowed.
  • PwD can be changed from Any to Any is allowed.
  • KM can be changed from Yes to No, but vice versa is not allowed.
  • Change of gender is permitted.
Note:
  • In case the candidate wants to change their data they can contact the authority online Registration and Choice filling.
  • It is solely the responsibility of the candidates to verify that their data, including category, PwD, KM status, gender etc. are consistent with documentary evidence.
  • In case the data submitted by a candidate found to be wrong at the time of verification then, the allotment of seat/ provisional admission will be cancelled.

3. Choice Filling

After the online registration candidate has to lock their choice of institutes according to their preferences.

  • Once the choices are locked, candidates will not be allowed to change their choices. Candidate must take a print of the choices along with the terms and conditions agreed at the time of registration is displayed once the choices are locked.
  • Candidates are advised to lock their choices and secure a printout of the locked choices.  In case registered candidates who do not lock any choices or fail to save them will not be considered for seat allotment. Candidates can log in again after locking the choices, but will not be allowed to modified or altered.

4. First round of Counselling Process

All the registered applicants are required to fill their choices of institutes in order of their preference. The procedure for locking choices and seeking pertinent information will be given on the computer screen through appropriate messages and tables

  • As per the eligibility of the candidate, choice of institutions will be displayed on the screen.
  • Candidates can fill as many numbers of choices in the order of their preference from the list of available institutes.
  • Candidates will be permitted to change or re-order their choices, delete earlier choices and add new choices and the number of times until they lock their final choices.

5. Second Round of Counselling Process

No fresh registrations will be allowed in the second round of Counselling. Those candidates who have registered in the Forst round will be eligible for this round of counselling.

6. Third and Final round of Counselling Process

Candidates who want to participate in the Third and Final Round will have to logged-in to portal and complete the following activities:

  • Online Registration for the third and Final Round counselling will be the same as for the main counselling.
  • Payment of Third and Final Round participation fee will be mandatory for all candidates except those candidates who have deposited the fee earlier.
  • For all provisionally admitted applicants, if they wanted to participate in the Third and Final Round then during choice filling it will be mandatory to have previously allotted institute as one of the filled choices.

NCHMCT JEE 2023 Seat Allotment

There will be a total of three rounds of NCHMCT JEE 2023 Counselling based on the merit list prepared by the authority. Seat allotment will be done based on the candidate’s All India Rank (AIR), category, preference of choices and availability of desired seats etc. The seat allotment results will be available online at nchmcounselling.nic.in as per given schedule by the authority. There will be no provision of sending Individual allotment letters to the candidates by post or any other mode under any circumstance.

Reporting to Reporting Center (RCs) after seat allotment and Fee Payment
  • Applicants who got a seat after the counselling are required to pay Seat Acceptance Fee online and then report to the Reporting Centers for document verification and Seat Confirmation.
  • Candidates, who will not report within the specified period to the Reporting Center on the allotment of the seats, their allotted seat will be cancelled and they will not be considered for seat allotment in the second round of counselling and those candidates will also be eligible for the third and final round of counselling.
  • During Reporting at Reporting Center, candidates have to verify DOB, Category, PwD, KM and 10+2 marks and update accordingly. The following can happen based on updating of candidate’s parameters:
    • The candidate will remain in this round and seat remains allotted as an original allotment.
    • Candidate’s allotted seat will be cancelled in this round and will be moved to the next round and based on the updated eligibility and seat availability, they may be allotted a seat in the next round.
    • The candidate will be considered for the further rounds.

Further, candidates are required to fill an option for the up-gradation in the second round of the Counselling either Float (Yes Upgradation) or Freeze (No up-gradation).

Those candidates who have opted option as “Float’, will be required to sign a declaration that in the event of allotment of a new seat in the second round, their earlier allotted seat will be cancelled automatically and the cancelled seat will be offered to the candidate in the next merit

Note:

For the candidates who have registered themselves as a Kashmiri migrant, 01 seat (supernumerary) in each entral and state government affiliated IHM will be provided. Kashmiri migrant registered candidates will have to produce the proof of registration in original at the time of counselling to get the advantage of reservation.
