NDA 2023 selection process is a rigorous and complex process. The UPSC notified about the examination for the year 2023 through an official notification published on the website. Applicants are waiting for the release of e-admit cards for the standard written examination to be held soon. Read on to find out how qualifying candidates are selected for admission into these academies. Candidates must read the given below section to know the whole procedure for NDA(1) 2023 Selection.
The written examination is the first stage of selection of the candidates. Applicants who will secure the minimum cut off marks in the written examination qualify for the subsequent selection stages. The UPSC notifies the results of the written examination through the website only.
Candidates who qualify in the written examination of the UPSC NDA and NA will be interviewed by the Services Selection Board. Qualifying candidates have to log in to the website of UPSC to know the details of their centre and the date of interview.
The first stage of selection of the SSB interview will consist of the Officer Intelligence Rating (OIR) test and Picture Perception & Description Test (PP&DT). It will be conducted on the first day of the SSB interview processes.
The second stage of SSB interview will consist of the interview, the group testing officer tasks, psychology tests and a final conference. The duration of the second stage of the SSB interview will of 04 days.
The candidates will be selected based on their performance in the written examination and both stages of the SSB interview.
