- NDA 1 Exam will be held on 16 April 2023.
- The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has declared the results for the NDA NA (I) 2023 written exam, which was held on April 16.
- Candidates who appeared for the exam are required to register themselves online on the Indian Army Recruiting website joinindianarmy.nic.in within two weeks of the announcement of the written result.
- Successful candidates will be allotted Selection Centers and dates for the SSB interview, which will be communicated on their registered e-mail ID.

NDA (1) 2023 Admit Card

Each exam conducted by UPSC is considered as one of the difficult examinations of the country, and NDA is one of them. Being a national level examination, it is hard for aspirants to crack the examination. With vast syllabus and high cutoff marks, candidates often find the preparation time consuming and exhaustive. NDA (1) 2023 Selection Procedure
UPSC regulates the selection criteria by adopting a two-stage selection procedure. First, eligible candidates are called for the written stage. Subsequently, qualified candidates shall appear for the SSB interview. Look into the in-depth selection procedure in this section.
Written Examination
The written examination takes place across the country at different examination centres. Candidates are called for the NDA written examination 2023 based on the eligibility criteria. The written examination is conducted for 900 marks. In these stages, candidates have to answer questions from the GAT and mathematics section which as of 12th standard level.
SSB Interview
NDA 2023 qualifiers are called for the SSB interview based on written exam result. SSB interview takes place for 05 days. It includes two stages – Stage 1 is officer intelligence rating (OPR) test and picture perception and description test and Stage 2 are group testing officer tasks, interview round, psychology test, and the conference.
NDA (1) 2023 Counselling
Once the result will be declared, those who will qualify the exam will be called for the NDA(1) 2023 counselling process. The counselling will be organised by the UPSC. While this process, examinees will have to carry their documents in original for verification purpose.
NDA 2023 SSB Interview
NDA SSB Interview round will be organized after the written test. Candidates clearing the written test round will be considered eligible for the interview and medical round. SSB will be organized in a number of rounds.
It will be held in five days and candidates have to necessarily appear in all the rounds. On the first day, psychological tests will be done. The second-day test will be of situation reaction test, word association test, self-description test and thematic apperception test.
Military Planning Exercise, Group Discussion Test, Intergroup Obstacle race, Lecturettes, Snake Race, Progressive Group Task, command task & personal interview, half group task will be done on the third day of interview for candidates by the President.
On the last two days – fourth and fifth tests will be done related to Final Group Task, Individual Obstacles, Interview for remaining candidates, final board conference & announcement of results.

NDA(1) 2023 Application Form

- Before filling the application form candidates must go through the eligibility criteria.
- Applicants must give their valid and active e-mail id while filling up the online application form as the Commission will be using the email id provided by applicants to contact the candidates.
- Candidates must submit only one application. If they are submitting another/multiple applications then they need to make sure that the application having higher RID (Registration ID) is complete in all respects such as applicants' details, examination centre, signature, photograph, photo identity card document, fee, etc. The fee paid against one RID shall not be adjusted against any other RID
- Candidate should also have details of anyone photo ID like Aadhar Card/ Voter Card/ PAN Card/ Passport/ Driving License/ School Photo ID/ any other photo ID card issued by the state or central government.
- The same photo ID should be uploaded with the online application form.
- The photo ID will be used as future reference and the candidates need to carry the same while appearing for exam/SSB.

Mode of Payment: The payment of NDA(1) application fees could be done in both online and offline methods. Candidates must keep in mind that the application fee will not be refunded back.
- Offline: Applicants who opt for 'Pay by Cash' mode, should print the system generated Pay-in-slip during Part-II registration and deposit the fee at the counter of SBI Branch on the next working day.
- Online: Candidates can pay the application fee either by using net banking facility of State Bank of India or by using Visa/MasterCard/Rupay Credit/Debit Card.
NDA (1) 2023 Eligibility Criteria
The candidates need to

- Gender: Only male candidates can apply for the exam.
- Nationality: Citizen of India, Bhutan, Nepal, Tibetan those came over to India before 01 January 1962 to permanently settle in India or person of Indian those have migrated from Burma, Pakistan, Sri Lanka and East African Countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, and Ethiopia or Vietnam to permanently settle in India.
- Candidates belonging to another state must have the certificate of eligibility which has been issued by the Government of India.
- NDA exam Age Limit: Candidates born between 02 January 2003 to 01 January 2006 are eligible to apply.
- Marital status: Only unmarried aspirants are eligible.

- Those aspirants who are in class 12th can also apply for the examination. But at the time counselling candidate have to submit their 10+2 certificate.
