- Eligibility for NEE I
- Maximum Age Limits as of 31 July 2023 should be 19 years for the general category (GE) (born on or after 1st August 2001), 22 years for OBC and female candidates (born on or after 01 August 1997), and 24 years for ST/SC/PD (born on or after 01st August 1996), compulsorily.
- Academic Qualification: Candidates must have passed Class X / Matriculation / Secondary Examination or an equivalent examination with Science and Mathematics Stream. They must have passed in all the subjects including Science and Mathematics separately.
- Eligibility for NEE-II
- Maximum Age Limits as of 31 July 2023 should be 23 years for the general category (GE) (born on or after 01 August 1997), 26 years for OBC and female applicants (born on or after 1st August 1994), and 28 years for ST/SC/PD (born on or after 01 August 1992).
- Academic Qualifications: Candidates must have passed in 10+2(PCM)/ Higher Secondary (PCM) with subjects like Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (PCM).
- Eligibility for NEE-II (Vocational):

NERIST has released the provisional answer key on the official website on 20 September.
- Candidates can download the answer key & question papers online mode.

About the North Eastern Regional Institute of Science and Technology
The NERIST was established in the year 04 March 1984, is a science and technology-oriented higher education institute in Nirjuli, Itanagar, Papum Pare district in the state of Arunachal Pradesh. It is an autonomous body fully funded by the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Dept. of Education, Govt. of India.
The North Eastern Regional Institute of Science & Technology is divided into two campuses. The Institute is spread over 500 acres of land. There are eight hostel blocks with a capacity of 1500 boarders; six of these house male undergraduate students, one postgraduate male student and research scholars and the other female students.
