PUMDET Counselling 2023 Eligibility

There are some terms and conditions that shortlisted candidates must fulfill before appearing in the counselling. Check the points given below.

• The candidates must have appeared in PUMDET and have obtained a general merit rank.
• Candidates admitted in the Presidency University in ‘home quota’ are not eligible for counselling in non – PU quota.

PUMDET Counselling Process 2023

After the declaration PUMDET result, candidates can check the counselling schedule at the official website. Check the steps involved in counselling for admission in Presidency University.

• Registration: The shortlisted candidates must register themselves for the counselling process. The counselling can be done at wbjeeb.nic.in.
• Payment of fees: After the details have been submitted at the time of registration, candidates have to submit the fee for registration to complete the process.
• Check the call list: After the registration, a call list is published on the official website specifying the number of seats.
• Report at the centre: The candidates are required to then appear for the counselling with proper and original as well as photocopies of document for the completion of verification of process. The candidates are called in order of their general merit rank.
• Payment of the admission fee: Once all the process of counselling is done, candidates need to submit the admission fees to confirm the admission.

Reporting at Presidency University

The candidates who received the provisional call letter are required to represent themselves at Presidency University for further process of admission. It is to be noted that during the reporting, the candidates are required to carry all the original documents with themselves. There are 5 affidavits which are decided by the university that has to be carried by the students at the time of reporting. Check the list given below.

PUMDET Counselling 2023- Second Round

West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination Board (WBJEEB) conducts the second round of counselling for PUMDET as per the information provided on vacancy by Presidency University. All those candidates who have failed to take a seat in the first round of counselling are then, called for the second round of counselling. Also, as per the availability of vacancy, more registered candidates of ranks might get a chance to be called for counselling. Allotment of seats will be same as the first round of counselling.
