Sikkim TET 2023 is often referred to as the
Sikkim Teacher Eligibility Test. The Human Resource Development Department (HRDD) of Sikkim will administer the Sikkim TET 2023. The exam is given at the state level once a year. Sikkim TET 2023 Eligibility Criteria
Before filling out the Sikkim TET 2023 application form, candidates must first check their eligibility. The following is some information about the Sikkim TET 2023:
Minimum essential qualifications for TET for Primary Teachers (grades 1–5)
- The applicant must have a Senior Secondary pass (or its equivalent)
- For the unreserved category, the 10+2 level must be completed with at least 50% marks.
- For the reserved category, the applicant must have a 10+2 grade point average of 45 percent.
- SC, ST, OBC (Central), and OBC (North) are the reserved categories (State).
The minimum essential qualification for TET for Graduate Teachers (for grades 6–8)
- The candidate must have a B.A./B.Sc. degree.
- The candidate must obtain 50% in order to be considered for the unreserved category.
- For the reserved category, the candidate must receive 45 percent of the available marks.
- SC, ST, OBC (Central), and OBC (North) are the reserved categories (State).
Note
- Candidates who want to be either a primary teacher or a graduate teacher must take both exams.
- An aspirant who has qualified for TET may reapply in subsequent years to improve his or her score.

Number of Exams: The Sikkim TET will have two papers, namely,
Paper I – Primary School Teacher for Grades I–V
Paper-II – Graduate Teacher for Classes VI-IX.
The Examination Pattern
- The questions on the Teacher Eligibility Test will be of the Objective variety (Multiple Choice questions).
- The number of MCQs (Multiple Choice Questions) is 150.
- There will be no negative marking.
- The examination lasts 2.30 hours.
Sikkim TET 2023 Admit Card
Applicants should read the following things to learn about the Sikkim TET admit card/hall ticket:
- The admit card will be made available on the university's official website.
- The hall ticket will not be mailed to any contender.
- Candidates must double-check the crucial information on the admit card.
- To the exam center, candidates must bring their admit card as well as one photo ID.
- No candidate will be permitted to sit for the entrance examination unless they have an admission card or photo ID.
Sikkim TET 2023 Result
Sikkim TET Result 2023 will be issued after the exam has been completed. Candidates can view their results on the official website of sikkimhrdd. The roll number of qualified candidates is mentioned in the Sikkim TET final merit list. Candidates who pass the exam are awarded a STET certificate. According to state government regulations, the certificate's validity is determined by the employee's age.
