TNEA 2022 cutoff will be released on its official website after the declaration of rank/merit list by the Directorate of Technical Education (DoTE), Tamil Nadu. TNEA cut off score is the minimum qualifying marks that candidates must have secured in the entrance test to be eligible for admission in B.Tech courses. On the basis of TNEA 2022 cut off marks and seat availability at the TNEA participating colleges, seats will be allotted to the qualified candidates. Candidates will be called for the round of counselling accordingly to the cutoff list. The TNEA 2022 cutoff scores vary as per the category of the candidate and rely on various other factors of the exam. TNEA 2022 Cutoff
Cutoff marks of TNEA 2022 are the minimum marks that a candidate will require to get admission in the institutes accepting TNEA scores. TNEA cutoff will be released as opening and closing ranks for all category candidates. Candidate must note that who will score more than TNEA cutoff will have higher chances of admission. There are many factors that determine the cutoff of TNEA 2022 like the number of seats, previous year cutoff trends, etc. Conducting authorities will release the cutoff of TNEA 2022 on their official website. Earlier Anna University conducts the TNEA exam and releases its cutoff. Candidates can check their TNEA cutoff 2022 by selecting the year and college.
Authority will release TNEA rank list 2022 on the official website. The rank list will be considered by the institutions at the time of admission. DoTE will release the rank list only for successfully registered candidates.
Directorate of Technical Education will begin TNEA 2022 Counselling after the examination. Candidates will be called to participate in the TNEA 2022 counselling process according to their rank in the entrance test.

How to check TNEA 2022 Cut Off?
The steps to check the TNEA Cut Off are as follows.
- Go to the official website and search for the cut-offs.
- Now, select Community, enter the Captcha, and click on the Submit button.
- Thereafter, check the cut-offs from the lists of colleges shown or search by District, Branch, Or Code.
- Then click the Select button in front of the college name.
- Now, check the TNEA Cut Off.
TNEA 2022 Seat Allocation
Selection shall be made under seven categories namely OC, BC, BCM (BC Muslim), MBC & DNC, SC, SCA and ST as per the reservation rule of the Government of Tamil Nadu:
- Open Competition – 31%
- Backward Class – 26.50%
- Backward Class Muslim – 3.50%
- Most Backward Class & Denotified Communities – 20%
- Scheduled Caste – 15%
- Scheduled Caste (Arunthathiyars) – 3%
- Scheduled Tribes – 1%
