TS EAMCET 2024 Engineering Eligibility Criteria

General Eligibility Criteria

• Candidates need to possess the following citizenship: Indian Nationality or Persons of Indian Origin (PIO) / Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) Card Holders.
• Applicants must belong to the state of Telangana/Andhra Pradesh.
• Candidates should satisfy both Local and Non-Local status requirements as laid down in the Telangana / Andhra Pradesh. Educational Institutions (Regulation of Admission) order, 1974 as subsequently amended. 

Course wise Eligibility Criteria

• If candidates want to take admission in Engineering or Pharmacy course, then they should complete the 16 years of age at the time of commencement of admission.
• If they want to take admission in B.Tech. (Dairy Technology), B.Tech. (Ag. Engineering), B.Tech. (FT) and B.Sc. (CA & BM), they must complete the age of 17 years as on 31 December at the year of admission.
• The upper age limit criteria for all the candidates should be 22 years and for Scheduled Caste or Scheduled Tribe is 25 years as on 31 December at the year of admission.
• Candidates should clear or appear for the class 12 examination with Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry as optional or related vocational courses in the fields of Engineering and
  Technology, conducted by the Board of Intermediate Education, Telangana / Andhra Pradesh.
• Need to pass or appear at the final year of the Diploma examination in Engineering conducted by the State Board of Technical Education and Training, Telangana / Andhra Pradesh or any other examination recognized as equivalent thereto by the State Board of Technical Education and Training, Telangana / Andhra Pradesh.

• Should complete the age of 17 years as on 31 December at the year of admission.
• Candidates must pass the 10+2 examination with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as optional conducted by the Board of Intermediate Education, Telangana / Andhra Pradesh or any other examination recognized by the Board of Intermediate Education, Telangana / Andhra Pradesh.

TS EAMCET 2024 Non-Engineering Eligibility Criteria

Candidates can check the TS EAMCET 2024 Eligibility for non-engineering courses given below:

General Eligibility Criteria

• Candidate should be of Indian Nationality or Persons of Indian Origin (PIO) / Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) Card Holder.
• Candidates are required to belong to the state of Telangana/Andhra Pradesh.
• Candidates should satisfy Local / Non-Local status requirements as laid down in the Telangana / Andhra Pradesh. Educational Institutions (Regulation of Admission) order, 1974 as subsequently amended.

Course wise Eligibility Criteria

• Applicants are required to secure at least 45% marks if they belong to the unreserved category and 40% marks for reserved category in the qualifying exam.
• Should clear the class 12 board exam from Board of Intermediate Education, Telangana/Andhra Pradesh with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology optional or any other equivalent exam recognized by the university as equal thereto.
• Candidates should have completed 16 years of age by the date of commencement of Admissions or on such other date as may be notified by the CET Committee. There is no upper age limit.

• Must complete the age of 17 years as on 31 December of the year of Admission.
• Applicants should have at least 45% if they belong to the general category and 40% marks if they belong to reserved category in the specified subjects.
• Should clear the 10+2 board examination or appeared for the exam by the Board of Intermediate Education, Telangana / Andhra Pradesh or any other examination recognized by the Board of Intermediate Education, Telangana / Andhra Pradesh as equivalent thereto with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics or Biology optional.
• Should have passed or appeared at the final year of the Diploma examination in Pharmacy course conducted by the Telangana / Andhra Pradesh State Board of Technical Education and Training or any other examination recognized as equivalent thereto by the Telangana / Andhra Pradesh State Board of Technical Education and Training.

Applicants should be passed or appearing for the class 10+2 exam which is conducted by the Board of Intermediate Education, Govt. of Telangana / Andhra Pradesh with Biology, Physics, and Chemistry as optional.

• Candidates are required to complete the age of 17 years as of 31 December of the admission year.
• The upper limit for the candidates who belong to the general category should be 22 years and those who belong SC/ST category should be 25 years as on 31 December of the admission year.
• Candidates must pass the 12 board exam or any equivalent exam recognized from the equivalent to the Board of Intermediate Education, Telangana / Andhra Pradesh with any two or three subjects from the following list:
