TS EMACET 2023 Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must be aware of their eligibility to take the admission exam. Candidates can check their eligibility for TS EMACET 2023 in the following points:
Criteria for Eligibility in General
- Candidates must be Indian citizens or People of Indian Origin / Overseas Citizens of India Cardholders.
- The aspirant must be a resident of the states of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh.
- The candidates must meet the Telangana / Andhra Pradesh standards for Local / Non-Local status. Order for the Regulation of Admission to Educational Institutions, 1974, as modified.
- The applicants must have completed the 10+2 level from a recognized board that is similar to the Telangana / Andhra Pradesh Board of Intermediate Education.
Criteria for Educational Eligibility
B.Pharmacy (M.P.C), B.Tech. (Dairy), B.Tech. (Ag. Engineering), and B.Tech. (Food Technology) courses:
- The applicants must have Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry as optional subjects or related vocational courses in the domains of Engineering and Technology from the Telangana / Andhra Pradesh Board of Intermediate Education.
OR
- Candidates must have passed or appeared in the final year of a Diploma in Engineering recognized by the State Board of Technical Education and Training, Telangana / Andhra Pradesh, or any other similar examination.
B.V.Sc. & A.H. / B.Sc. (Hons.) Horticulture/B.Sc. (Forestry) / B.F.Sc. / B.Tech. (FT) courses:
- Candidates appearing in the exam must have completed two or three of the subjects listed below at the 10+2 level:
- Bachelor of Science (B.Sc) (Hons.) Physical Sciences, Biological or Natural Sciences, Agriculture, Agriculture Vocational Course
- Bachelor of Science (B.Sc) (Hons.) Horticulture includes Physical Sciences, Biological or Natural Sciences, Agriculture, and Agricultural Vocational Training.
- B.Sc. (Forestry): Physics, Chemistry, Biology OR Mathematics, Biology, Physics, Chemistry B.Sc. (Forestry): Physics, Chemistry, Biology B.Sc. (Forestry): Physics, Chemistry,
- Physical Sciences, Biological Sciences, or Natural Sciences (B.V.Sc. & A.H.)
- Physical Sciences, Fishery Sciences Vocational Course, Biological or Natural Sciences B.F.Sc
- Mathematics, Physical Sciences, Biological or Natural Sciences; B.Tech. (Food Technology): Mathematics, Physical Sciences, or Physical Sciences, Biological or Natural Sciences.
For the B. Pharm. Program:
- Physics, Chemistry, and Biology are required at the intermediate level.
- At the 10+2 level test, the candidate must obtain a minimum of 45 percent (40 percent if the candidate is from a reserved category) in the subjects specified (or 40 percent if the candidate is from a reserved category).
B.Tech. (Bio-Technology) Course Requirements:
- At the intermediate level, the candidate must take Biology, Physics, and Chemistry as optional subjects, as well as the Telangana / Andhra Pradesh Board of Intermediate Education's bridge course examination in Mathematics.
For Pharm –D Course (50% seats for M.P.C and 50% seats for Bi. P.C candidates):
- Candidates must have passed the Board of Intermediate Education, Telangana / Andhra Pradesh's Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics or Biology optional examinations, or any other examination recognized by the Board of Intermediate Education, Telangana / Andhra Pradesh as equivalent.
OR
Age Eligibility:
Courses in Engineering and Pharmacy:
- Candidates must be 16 years old by the start of the admissions process or by such other date as the common entrance exam committee may specify.
- There is no higher age limit for submitting an application.
B.Sc. (CA & BM), B.Tech. (Dairy Technology), B.Tech. (Ag. Engineering), B.Tech. (FT), and B.Tech. (FT):
- Candidates must be at least 17 years old as of December 31st of the year of admission.
- Applicants must be at least 22 years old (other than SC/ST candidates) and no more than 25 years old (for
- Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe candidates) as of December 31st of the admissions year.
NOTE: Candidates for Pharm-D must be 17 years old as of December 31st of the year of admission.
B.V.Sc. & A.H. / B.Sc. (Hons.) Horticulture/B.Sc. (Forestry) / B.F.Sc. / B.Tech. (FT) courses:
- The candidate must be 17 years old as of December 31st of the admission year.
- For all unreserved candidates, the maximum age limit has been fixed at 22 years, with three-year age relaxation for SC/ST candidates as of December 31st of the admission year.
For the B. Pharm. Program:
- Candidates must be 16 years old by the start of the admissions process or by such other date as the CET Committee may specify.
- There are no age restrictions.
TS EMACET 2023 Admit Card
The TS EMACET 2023 Admit Card can be downloaded from the exam conducting body's official website. No candidate will receive an admit card in the mail. Candidates will not be permitted to attend the examination center on any dates or times other than those specified on their admit card. Candidates should contact HelpLine if they are unable to get Admit Cards from the website or detect any discrepancies in their Admit Cards. Candidates must attentively study the instructions on the Admit Card and adhere to them during the examination.
TS EMACET 2023 Results
The results of the TS EMACET 2023 will be published on the responsible authority's official website. The scorecard will be available for download on the official website for applicants. Candidates will be ranked according to the merit list that has been established. Only for the academic year 2023-2023 will the rank earned be valid for admission to the courses listed on the application form. The score will not be sent to the applicants separately by the conducting authority. Any candidate claiming to be from the SC / ST category who obtained a rank in TS EMACET 2023 with the benefit of a relaxation of the minimum qualifying marks will have their claim canceled if the claim is found to be invalid at the time of admission to any course of study in any participating University / Institution.
