How to Calculate TS EMACET Normalized Score?

Normalized Score= GASD + (GTA – GASD) / (GTA + GASD) x (Marks obtained in the subject in a session − SASD)

• SASD is the Standard Deviation (SD) and Sum of Average (A) of the subject of a session in which the candidate appeared.
• The Average Mark of the top 0.1% of the candidates(STA) in the subject of a session in which the candidate appeared.
• GASD is the Standard Deviation (SD) and Sum of Average (A) of all the candidates across all sessions of the subject put together.
• The Average Mark of the top 0.1% of all the candidates(GTA) across all the sessions of the subject put together.

Tie-Breaking Criteria for TS EMACET 2023

If any two or more candidates have the same score in the examination then to resolve the TS EMACET 2023 tie-breaking criteria are given below:

• Candidates who got the highest marks in Total normalized marks in the Entrance Exam will be considered first.
• If a tie exists, Candidates will be considered first who got the highest marks in marks secured in Mathematics.
• If a tie exists, Candidates will be considered first who got the highest marks in Marks secured in physics.
• If a tie exists, Candidates will be considered first who got the highest Aggregate marks in the qualifying exam.
• If a tie exists, Age will be considered.

• Candidates who got the highest marks in Total normalized marks in the Entrance Exam will be considered first.
• If a tie exists, Candidates will be considered first who got the highest marks in Marks secured in Biology.
• If a tie exists, Candidates will be considered first who got the highest marks in Marks secured in physics.
