UPES MET 2023 Application form has released in online mode from December 2022. The exam will be conducted in January 2023 through online mode. UPES MET is conducted by the University of Petroleum and Energy Studies (UPES) for providing eligible candidates admission in MBA courses in various fields once every year at the National Level. Those candidates who completed their graduation, Class 12th, Class 10th with minimum 50% marks are eligible to apply for UPES MET 2023. The question paper contains 140 MCQs from four sections namely, General Awareness, Quantitative, Analytical and Logical Reasoning, and General English. Besides this, candidates can also apply based on their MAT, CMAT, XAT, CAT, NMAT by GMAC, and GMAT scores. The UPES MET 2023 Application form has been released by the conducting university- UPES. Furthermore, the candidates need to make sure that they fill in all the required details correctly without any mistakes.

Non- Examination Pathway
The non-examination pathway is for candidates for getting admission in MBA through National Level Tests. The criteria for the same has been mentioned below:
- Students that score a minimum of 75 percentile in MAT/CMAT 2023 will be exempted from UPES Management Entrance Test(UPES MET) and will only be called for Group Discussion and Interview (If qualified)
- A Valid score of 70 percentile and above in CAT 2019/ XAT 2023.
- A minimum score of 550 and above for GMAT.
- A score of 140 and above in NMAT 2020/2023 scores are also accepted.
Note: Up to 30% of the total seats shall be filled through National level tests( CAT/MAT/XAT/NMAT). In case these seats remain vacant, UPES has the right to fill these seats through MBA (UPSEMET).
UPES MET 2023 Admit Card
The vital information regarding UPES MET Admit Card 2023 is given as follows:
- The admit card is released by the conducting authority.
- The admit card will be available online on the official website.
- The detailed information and rules of the exam will be given along with the hall card.
- Candidate have to one photo ID along with the admit card in the examination hall
- Mobile, Bluetooth, or any electronic device is not allowed in the examination hall. If any candidate is found with such an electronic device then their examination will get cancel.

The conducting authority, UPES has prescribed the UPES MET exam pattern 2023. It will consist of 140 multiple-choice questions (MCQs) questions of one mark each from four sections, namely, Quantitative, General Awareness, Analytical and Logical Reasoning, and General English

Scoring Pattern: Each question will have four options and the candidates are supposed to choose only one option.
- Marking of multiple options will be considered incorrect.
- There would be no negative marking for the incorrect response.
- For every correct answer, aspirants will get one mark.

UPES MET 2023 Counselling
The counselling process of UPES MET 2023 will be conducted offline mode by the conducting authority. After the declaration of the result by the UPES, the selected candidate will be eligible for admission in their courses. Candidate needs to bring the following documents for verification:

- 12th or higher secondary exam mark sheets and certificate
- Any professional degree certificate, if any

UPES MET 2023 Selection Process
The admission of the candidates to various MBA courses is conducted through the following two ways:
- Non-Examination way(For Direct Entry) – National exams like CAT/MAT/XAT/CMAT/NMAT followed by the Group Discussion and Personal Interview.
- Examination way – UPESMET 2023 followed by the Group Discussion and Personal Interview.
The candidates are required to qualify all the stages of the admission process for admission in their respected courses. The final selection is based on the total marks obtained by the candidates in all three stages. Candidates can check more details about Coursera here.
UPES MET 2023 Scholarship
The eligibility for the UPES MET Scholarship 2023 is
- Minimum 80 percentile score in CAT/XAT
- Minimum 90 percentile score in MAT, NMAT, UPESMET & any other National Level Entrance.
- 10% seats in each program for a 25% tuition fee waiver in the first semester.

For BBA Program
1. Merit-Based scholarship:
- 50% tuition fee waiver on 20% seats of each program in the first semester for CBSE, ICSE, and State Board passed out students.
- Eligibility criteria for the scholarship: 75% marks in 10th and 12th.
2. Uttrakhand state board toppers scholarships for BBA Programs:
- The eligibility criteria for state board toppers are as follows-
- Minimum 80% aggregate in Class 10th and 12th in Uttrakhand Board
- 150 toppers from UK board
- Merit order allotment of 1 seat /program
- The seats reserved under this category will be within the 15% reservation for Uttrakhand Domicile students.
- Should have “Sthai Niwas Praman Patra” (Permanent Residence Certificate)
- Candidates will be entitled only to 1 scholarship at a time (either through Uttarakhand Board Toppers or through Uttarakhand Domicile category)
Scholarship provided:
- 25% of a tuition fee waiver for Boys and 35% for Girl students in the first year
- Scholarship in subsequent years will be as per the merit scholarship policy of the University

About UPES
University of Petroleum and Energy Studies (UPES) is a private university established in the year 2003 through the Act 2003 of the State Legislature of Uttarakhand. It offers industry-aligned and specialised graduate and postgraduate programs through its eight schools, viz., School of Engineering, School of Computer Science, School of Design, School of Law, School of Business, School of Health Sciences, School of Smart Agriculture, and School of Modern Media.
Under the UPES School of Engineering, B. Tech. students can pursue additional specialisations in the latest technologies such as artificial intelligence, IoT, Data Analytics, Machine Learning, and Blockchain. The School also initiated a Diploma in Business Management program for its undergraduate students.
