UPES MET 2023 is conducted by University of Petroleum and Energy Studies (UPES) for providing eligible candidates admission in MBA courses in various fields. The exam is conducted through online mode once every year at the National Level. Those candidates who completed their graduation, Class 12th, Class 10th with minimum 50% marks are eligible to apply for UPES MET 2023. The question paper contains 140 MCQs from four sections namely, General Awareness, Quantitative, Analytical and Logical Reasoning, and General English. Besides this, candidates can also apply based on their MAT, CMAT, XAT, CAT, NMAT by GMAC, and GMAT scores. Non- Examination Pathway
The non-examination pathway is for candidates for getting admission in MBA through National Level Tests. The criteria for the same has been mentioned below:
- Students that score a minimum of 75 percentile in MAT/CMAT 2023 will be exempted from UPES Management Entrance Test(UPES MET) and will only be called for Group Discussion and Interview (If qualified)
- A Valid score of 70 percentile and above in CAT 2019/ XAT 2023.
- A minimum score of 550 and above for GMAT.
- A score of 140 and above in NMAT 2020/2023 scores are also accepted.
Note: Up to 30% of the total seats shall be filled through National level tests( CAT/MAT/XAT/NMAT). In case these seats remain vacant, UPES has the right to fill these seats through MBA (UPSEMET).
