UPTET 2022 Preparation Tips: Tips to crack the exam

Created On - March 05 2022 by Shilpee Ghosh

Uttar Pradesh Basic Education Board administers the UPTET exam, which is a state-level examination (UPBEB). The UPTET exam is held once a year in Uttar Pradesh for the recruitment of school teachers. We are all becoming more reliant on online learning materials. Students rely on online lectures or study materials rather than offline coaching facilities during pandemic scenarios. Meanwhile, UPTET candidates may be perplexed about how to prepare for the 2022 exam. With everything available in the convenience of their own homes, the UPTET online study material has proven to be a blessing to students. Preparing for the UPTET exam has become a lot easier.

UPTET 2022 Preparation Tips

Know your exam pattern & syllabus

Many candidates may be interested in learning more about the UPTET syllabus and exam format. Before taking the exam, you should familiarise yourself with the UPTET syllabus, which includes all of the essential topics that will be asked in the exam as well as themes that have been asked in the exam for the past 4 to 5 years.

UPTET is divided into two levels, each with a different syllabus but the same test style.

Level 1: Primary school teacher (grades 1–5)
Level 2: Upper Primary (Grades 6–8) teacher

Prepare And Stick To A Strict Time-Table

The first step in preparing for any competitive exam is to create and stick to a strict timetable. Competitive exams need dedication and punctuality in the classroom. Make a schedule that you will be able to stick to during your preparation period and that includes brief breaks to keep you refreshed. You should devote more time to difficult and vital things. Candidates should not squander their time on strange pursuits. To avoid wasting time throughout the preparation period, you must develop time management skills.

Prepare Short Notes

You should make your own notes on the things you've studied so that you can go over them again during your revision period. To make revising easier during the revision time, you should underline significant themes, equations, and points. Reading from books is far less successful than learning from handwritten notes.

Solving Previous Year Question Papers

Manually solve at least the last 5-year previous papers using a timer, just as you would in the final exam. This will assist you in learning the test format and self-assessment so that you may focus on your weak areas of the course.  This will also help you get better grades on the exam.

Practicing Sample Papers And Sample Tests

There are a variety of mock tests available online on various learning websites. You may train yourself to calculate problems much faster and enhance your problem-solving skills by practicing these sample examinations on a daily basis.

Textbooks for the UPTET should be studied

Choosing the correct textbooks is a crucial component of any preparation. Only by thoroughly studying texts can you lay a conceptual foundation. It is ideal to study only one textbook for each subject. Mock tests and practice papers are only useful if you understand the fundamental topics. The finest textbooks for UPTET preparation include NCERT and UP Education Board textbooks in English, Maths, and Science.

Maintain a calm and composed demeanor

It is critical to maintaining a cool demeanor when studying and taking the exam. Every day, try meditating for a few minutes to help your mind stay relaxed and focused. You require a stress-free environment in order to concentrate on your studies and comprehend them.

Dietary Balance
A healthy mind rests in a healthy body, thus eating a well-balanced diet is essential. While studying for the exam, try to consume a lot of fruits and stay hydrated; this will help you stay fresh and thus boost your attention strength.
Last Moment Exam Preparation Tips
  • Arrive at the center an hour ahead of time.
  • There will be no negative marking if you attempt all of the questions.
  • Start with the questions you know, as this will allow you to conserve time for the questions that take longer.
  • Keep track of the time.
  • The night before the exam, get a decent night's sleep.
  • Don't be alarmed and try to remain cool while taking the exam.
